Having lived through the experience of being abducted by a stranger, I would like to point out that it is not just children who are running about free and from families would don't care, this happens to good families and to children who are very much loved but happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sometimes children don't have a choice of going with them .. I didn't as he said he would kill me. Now I teach my son to be aware of what is happening around him and if he is unsure of any situation walk away and come home. I could have been a parent that would never let my son out of my sight and don't get me wrong I am very protective but he has to have a life as well and enjoy being a child. I would also like to say that the police said I survived because I was so calm and did as I was told.
