Have NC-d in case this isn't normal. Naice ham, gluezilla, yoni etc.

Do you wee in the shower? I never used to and would have thought it pretty disgusting. But since having DC things aren't as they used to be & now if I need to, I just go.

AIBU?

Yes, i do and i wee in the bath, and i'm not bothered about anyone elses wee either. I'm totally okay with wee, it's really good for my eczema.

AKissIsNotAContract · 09/08/2013 06:05

I suffer terribly with chilblains and I have tried soaking my feet in piss out of sheer desperation. I don't have a problem with peeing in the shower.

overitalready · 09/08/2013 06:10

Zoe - You & your partner leant what in the shower? maybe too earlier for me to understand

MohammedLover · 09/08/2013 06:28

I'm thinking the same Overit!

Iaintdunnuffink · 09/08/2013 06:43

Squirt?? What universe have I woken up in?

fluffyraggies · 09/08/2013 06:59

Another shower wee'er here.

It's one of life's great pleasures.

(no idea if the rest of the family do it)

Lazyjaney · 09/08/2013 07:07

Tis liberating.

Wee is also sterile, not dirty. Apparently diluted 1:2 it's good for pot plants.

livinginwonderland · 09/08/2013 07:07

I've always peed in the shower, even as a little kid. My dad postively encouraged it because it saved water.

NewAtThisMalarky · 09/08/2013 07:41

I'm amused by how disgusted people are with what is actually a very useful liquid.

maybe you need to read The Life of Pee by Sally Magnusson.

EatingAllTheCrumpets · 09/08/2013 07:46

All the time, when else can I pee freely standing up Grin as far as I'm concerned I'm washing with soap and hot water so im clean and the shower is always cleaned straight after use. Don't see any issue.

Also if my guests did it, I'd be far more concerned that they felt the need to tell me they'd done it, rather than the act itself!

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 09/08/2013 07:58

A bloke writes: Yep. And it's more hygienic as it's straight off down the plughole.

Doesn't cure athlete's foot though.

MadBannersAndCopPorn · 09/08/2013 07:59

I am an unashamed shower weer. Some of you that think it's filthy should never go anywhere near a sea... ever!
It's wee, it rinses down your legs and into the plug hole, it's not the same as using the bath as a massive toilet

Grin shitting & poking it down with your big toe.

Abra1d · 09/08/2013 08:05

Wee is also sterile, not dirty.

It's only sterile until the point at which it leaves your body.

If it's sterile how come that pair of pants your toddler pee'd in smell after an hour or so? How come that bit of carpet your dog pee'd on smells? That's the result of bacterial activity and that's what's happening in your shower tray, unless you clean it out. And who's got time for that? Just use the loo.

grumpalumpgrumped · 09/08/2013 08:07

I am shocked that people don't do this, I thought everyone did???

shitting & poking it down with your big toe. Grin, that made me spit my tea!

Cheerymum · 09/08/2013 08:11

I don't do this, and I don't think it's normal to! First few weeks post partum over stitches - excusable. Normal practice - no thanks, I prefer to use the toilet. It is sterile, I don't have body fluid hang ups, but still no for me.

teacherandguideleader · 09/08/2013 08:15

I personally don't as I always use the loo before I get in.

I was once in the shower, having finished my shower and the lady in the shower next to me started weeing (she hadn't yet started her shower - you can see the shower heads). Her wee splashed up my legs and it stank. I showered again and put in a complaint at reception.

What people choose to do at home is fine, but in a public space it isn't on!

Lazyjaney · 09/08/2013 08:15

shitting & poking it down with your big toe. , that made me spit my tea

Isn't that what the shitty stick is for Grin

SoupDragon · 09/08/2013 08:15

that's what's happening in your shower tray, unless you clean it out

You mean like running lots of water down it - kind of like running a shower? Oh, hang on...

teacherandguideleader · 09/08/2013 08:15

I meant to put that the lady was in the showers in the gym.

Thisisaeuphemism · 09/08/2013 08:16

You mean the communal showers next to the swimming pool?

I don't wee there.

Tortoise · 09/08/2013 08:16

I haven't ever wee'd in the shower but now I have a strange urge to try it. Need a wee now just thinking about it. I'm going to get out of bed soon and have a shower!

emdottyjackson · 09/08/2013 08:17

I thought the idea was horrid until DH told me he did! I still can't though, for some reason I have standing up pee phobia, I have to be sitting down!

grumpalumpgrumped · 09/08/2013 08:18

Shock at the gym! I draw the line at that!

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 09/08/2013 08:19

I dont. I've just never thought it was necessary. Im not particularly bothered that other people do though. Hmm i wonder if dh does...
