AIBU?

To not fancy Brad Pitt or George Clooney and other cliches of our time

This is meant to be light-hearted and if you have an enormous crush on either (or both) of these fine actors, then fair play to you but am I alone in thinking that a lot of lazy, cliched chick lit presumes that just cos you're a heterosexual woman in your 40s you're automatically gagging for these two? Feel free to add your own most hated cliche, chick lit or otherwise.

Brad Pitt looks awful these days, too much surgery and fiddling with his face. And I don't like him cos of what he did to Jen. He seems like a bit of an arse.

George Clooney is good looking but he, also, seems like a bit of an arse and I do subscribe to the whole beard theory tbh.

Now Matt from 'This Morning' and Jack Branning. Yum.

oh lizzabadger I was just away to say about John Cusack and twitter. I stopped following him because of his odd tweets and retweets.

I still would, though Grin

I have never found George or Brad remotely attractive. Nor Richard Gere for that matter.

And Benedict?? urgh no, can't see it either

Not sure who lights my fire these days. Hmmm maybe Chris Gascoyne at the moment, with his lovely streaks of silver and that lovely beard

Oh Richard Gere mings. And takes himself far to seriously.

Agree thebody. Becks looks like he'd be a right dirty bastard too. In a good way.

I always think John Simm would be filthy in the bedroom. I used to be mental for him and Philip Glenister (big Life on Mars fan), now I just think they're both great actors and seem like a good laugh. But yes, I still "would" lol.

I never got the attraction of Johnny Depp, Justin Timberlake or Patrick Swayze.

I wouldn't say no to Tom Cruise, back in the Top Gun days . Is that deemed odd???

Is it wrong that I found Matt from This Morning dangerously sexy when he was done up as Rod Stewart on Your Face Sound Familiar last night.

I totally LOVE him. Even in leopard print leggings and a fright wig.

motherinferior

"Whoever said Rickman can get her filthy paws off him, he is MINE. I'll take Peter Capaldi at the same time, thanks."

EXCUSE ME (trying to be polite here) but he is MINE. I don't care if he stole props from HP or would only talk about himself.

In the absence of dear Alan, I wouldn't say no to David Ginola or Jean-Christoph Novelli.

Do we get points for guessing how many of the men mentioned on this thread are actually closet gays?

I don't do twitter, can anyone tell me what's weird about John Cusacks tweets? Shame, I really like him too :(

Agreed. Cheeseballs do nothing for me. GC comes across an arrogant wanker. BP was only cute in Thelma and Louise. TC is just... a weirdo.

I have always had a soft spot for Pierce Brosnan. Especially since Mama Mia, I like that he does all sorts of roles and doesn't always play leading men. He doesn't take himself too seriously. Remember The Lawnmower Man? Lol

Daniel Craig has very nice eyes. Very sparkly and blue. He just comes across a bit too stupid for me.

My soft spots: Sam Worthington, Aaron Paul, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and Dominic West. Lots of British actors (exc. Aaron). :D

Dominic West played a blinder as Richard Burton in that BBC4 drama the other night, he was just gorgeous. I used to like Tom Hardy but I think he's a bit odd. Great lips though.

Richard Gere gives me the hairy boak after he slimed all over Shilpa Shetty. A definite no from me.

Harrison Ford would still be my number one. Temple of Doom was on last night and I had to go for a lie-down, it was too much for my 32-week-pregnant self!

Harrison Ford was at his peak in Witness. Watched it a few weeks ago and swooned throughout.

Clooney and Jackman are both on the other bus aren't they?
Pitt past his peak.
Fassbender looks like absolute filth, I would, till it fell off...

I really need to calm down...
