I think we should appreciate it if people have different opinions from our own re bringing up children, dealing with money and so on. I think it's good people have strong opinions otherwise what is the point of discussing anything.

Oh these threads turn up every now and then about 'false spreading' and they never get anywhere, one was saying people has 'false dc' etc...

Agreed, some posters just want to wind people up rather than argue.
I like the rough and tumble of debate but I don't think that's what these people are doing.

Perhaps they're not deliberately goading. Perhaps they just don't agree with the other posters.

I do think threads like this have a lovely unifying effect on all of us who get to agree about the OP, though.
