Fact - it's Easier to work with Men than Women! Men are simple when it comes to decision making, women on the other hand are intimated so they hate you, need constant gratification, if your confident they hate you, if you take the well earned limelight women hate you! Always worked in all male dominated offices for a reason! #alphabitch #fuckthesisterhood #malebrain Shock Angry

Wow. That's really very scary.

I think I would reply "Do you think maybe women hate you because you're, you know, a fucking bitch as opposed to so fucking excellent at your job?"

SueDoku · 08/07/2013 20:55

Defriend

Thisisaeuphemism · 08/07/2013 20:58

Yikes.

"They don't hate you because you are confident. It's because you are stupid and dull"?

Fairenuff · 08/07/2013 20:59

Fact: It's easier to blame others for your own shortcomings!

I think I'd say something like "If this is how you talk to women in your office, I'm not that surprised you're not getting along" and de-friend!

SweetHoneyBeeeeee · 08/07/2013 21:02

There was lots of agreement with her by both men and women...so I posted:

If this were a man posting about a woman it would be totally unacceptable. If you replace the word women with a religious, racial or cultural group it would be totally unacceptable. Yes, some women are not good to work with. However sexism is wrong, regardless of whether it comes from a woman or not.

And got back:

Let's not take it out of context I am women talking about women. I think I have earned the right having a vagina to be able to comment on women. The feminist steps up, spare me! There are countless psychological studies on the female and male brain and the differences. Male and female behaviour is different, our emotions our decision making is different, is that sexism or a reality of human race, and the way our bodies and brains develop. Our brains function differently. Certain behavioural traits are attributed strongly to women than to men, that's not sexism thats the facts. Personality traits that integrate with behaviours are also different for women. Why is that in the top 100 FTSE companies only two companies which have female CEO's, is that sexism or the fact women have the inability to function in such roles. This is not a new phenomenon by the comments I can see other women also encounter other women who are a bit of order! Sexism or not i have never had a bitchy exchange with a male colleague.

Think my reply will be 'Thanks for setting me straight, I didn't realise you were a professor of psychology! Of course the lack of women on ftse 100 boards is due to lack of ability and no other external factors such as generally being the primary careers for children and the elderly. And of course your personal experience gives you the absolute right to speak for all women' ...followed by a swift de-friend Grin

YANBU.

Reply with this:

"Maybe they just hate you because you are a cunt. #itsgotnothingtodowithgender #themenprobablyhateyoutoo

AmandaPandtheTantrumofDoom · 08/07/2013 21:05

Just add on the end of that "and if you want to learn about the multiple ways your 'scientific facts' are rubbish, read Cordelia Fine' Grin

She sounds an awful, awful person.

Thisisaeuphemism · 08/07/2013 21:05

Oh god. a self-loather.

I don't think I could bring myself to engage.

Thisisaeuphemism · 08/07/2013 21:06

Sheshelobs reply says it all I think.

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 08/07/2013 21:08

Wow! Is she one of those people who says she's a man's woman not a woman's woman?

Sheshelob · 08/07/2013 21:09

Her stupidity just made me facepalm myself a black eye.

It's like a sexist worm eating itself.

My goodness. I think women hate her because she's obnoxious tbh! The men probably do as well, unless she sucks up to them deliberately.....

That said, there was a rather depressing thread on here actually, something like 'do you get on better with men or women?'. I was very disappointed by the number of posters stereotyping women in certain ways, so it's not an uncommon attitude unfortunately!

Thisisaeuphemism · 08/07/2013 21:10

Yes remote control. It was memorably miserable.

SweetHoneyBeeeeee · 08/07/2013 21:13

I have posted, including the Cordelia Fine reference and defriended. So frustrating that this comes from a well educated mad as far as I otherwise knew, intelligent woman Angry

SweetHoneyBeeeeee · 08/07/2013 21:15

Btw, I know Facebook is awful...and I shouldn't engage...but if someone said it in front of you, you'd put them right, right? In my view ignoring is often seen as tacit agreement so forgive the Facebook reference please Grin

Thisisaeuphemism · 08/07/2013 21:15

Good on you, op

Remotecontrolduck · 08/07/2013 21:16

I have no idea why some women think other women hate them. I can only assume it's because they go in thinking that women are against them, give off a really unpleasant vibe, and consequently anyone on the recieving end of that vibe is going to be wary of trying to be too friendly.

You act approachable and friendly with the men, they're likely to be nice back.

It's nothing to do with women being rude/difficult to work with. It's the attitude you're giving off putting people on the end of it off you. I expected a lot better from MNers, a forum used predominantly by women really.

NinaJade666 · 08/07/2013 21:18
Hmm
Fairenuff · 08/07/2013 21:18

Why is that in the top 100 FTSE companies only two companies which have female CEO's, is that sexism or the fact women have the inability to function in such roles

hahahahahahahah

Oh, I needed a laugh Grin

It's a shame you de-friended her, we could have kept you supplied with replies to her all evening.

Now what am I going to do.

Sheshelob · 08/07/2013 21:20

I know someone who "struggles" to get on with women. But I think that is because she works in a female dominated profession and is perhaps the most patronising and passive aggressive arse to ever walk the planet. If she worked with men, they would find her unbearable, too. But she turns it into a "woman" thing.

It makes me want to headbutt a wall.

Hmm
slapandpickle · 08/07/2013 21:21

she sounds horrid! is she Katie Hopkins??

1Veryhungrycaterpillar · 08/07/2013 21:21

It's a pity you can't link this thread to her FB, nothing worse than a woman who hates women
