You need to defiantly go to A&E.
Did he defiantly do that?
Tomorrow I will defiantly phone them.

I wand to defiantly punch these people. Definitely.

I've noticed a lot of 'draw' instead of 'drawer' recently. It is slowly driving me crazy.

mermaidbutmytailfelloff · 04/07/2013 21:18

Saw a listing on eBay last week for "Chester draws"

usualsuspect · 04/07/2013 21:19

YABU.

It's want btw.

cece · 04/07/2013 21:20
Biscuit

My point exactly.

usualsuspect · 04/07/2013 21:21

The first rule of slagging of someones spelling, is check your own post.

Soupqueen · 04/07/2013 21:21

I nominate ridiculous as the most misspelled word on the internet. My Facebook newsfeed is littered with "rediculous".

OwlinaTree · 04/07/2013 21:21

life's too short to correct spellings unless you are a primary school teacher.

NoRainNoRainbow · 04/07/2013 21:21

My iPhone changes definitely into defiantly if I'm not really careful.

Sorry op Sad

maja00 · 04/07/2013 21:21

Brought for bought is the one that gets me.

bemybebe · 04/07/2013 21:22

seperately ;)

EleanorFarjeon · 04/07/2013 21:22

Definitely is, I reckon, the most mis-spelled word in the English language.

Loads of people spell it definately, too.

We need compulsory Latin back at our schools.

AllOutOfNaiceHam · 04/07/2013 21:22

Oh yes, it is. Blush I'm not evem sure if that was auto correct or fat finger slip..

Chester Draws.. nice.
I've spotted "laxy daisy" a few times recently.

OP posts:
Pagwatch · 04/07/2013 21:23

I love Chester draws!

makingdoo · 04/07/2013 21:23

YABU

Gonnabmummy · 04/07/2013 21:23

Of and off getting mixed up is the worst! I have to read sentence a few times before I realise which it is :/

peggotty · 04/07/2013 21:26

It seems to be bad form to get annoyed at spelling mistakes on MN but most go over my head EXCEPT loosing or loose instead of losing or lose. That's the only one I can't stand. And I've got a cheek because I'm constantly getting apostrophes in the wrong place which could quite rightly get up someone else's nose!

Bimbledorf · 04/07/2013 21:26

Or of and have.

My husband frequently mixes up to and too, too!

cocolepew · 04/07/2013 21:26

Yabu. Its rude and who really gives a fuck? Hmm
It's talking crap on the internet not a CV.

usualsuspect · 04/07/2013 21:26

I often mix up of and off and to and too.

throwinshapes · 04/07/2013 21:26

There, their and they're.
The misuse gets me ??every time.

AllOutOfNaiceHam · 04/07/2013 21:29

But defiantly and definitely are two different words.

OP posts:
ArtisanLentilWeaver · 04/07/2013 21:29

Lose and loose. Angry

usualsuspect · 04/07/2013 21:31

My kindle changes definitely to defiantly all the time.

I cba to check every post so as not to offend some poor itchy toothed pedant.

PoppettyPing · 04/07/2013 21:32

My personal favourite was on a post somewhere here recently where the OP mentioned she had put someone on a "peddle stool"..haha!

Should of instead of Should HAVE annoys me.
And the obvious They're Their There. Argh.

I do think it's pointless getting worked up about it though.

GobblersKnob · 04/07/2013 21:34

Acually I love a misuse of definatly, it usually makes for such an amusing sentence.
