Coffee cake is delish, but not the yukky kind with walnuts in.

I make nut cakes for school thingys and then am told "oh no, no nuts!"

So I can't donate the cake. Shame.

My three standards - lemon blueberry cake, banana vanilla cake, and the smitten kitchen everyday chocolate cake, which is the chocolate cake.

Mmmm cake. I don't have any in the house. Bugger. How quickly can I make a cake? Oooh I have a pack of Tunnocks' tea cakes in the cupboard? Not cake exactly but close.

I've just got under 10 stone after being 10 stone 9. I don't need cake, I don't.

As an aside I make a wonderful chocolate and coffee cake. I call it it Ferret's amazing Chocca mocha shocka. A layer of chocolate sponge, a layer of coffee sponge and repeat. I then cover it in coffee butter cream on top and chocolate around the sides.

(the shocka bit is how many calories there are per slice)

Baked a mud cake for DS birthday party on Sunday. Had to do a round one and carve a square one to make the number 6. The pieces tested so far are good. Sure it will be even better covered in ganache, kitkat edging and the top covered in M'n'M's.
