or is it just where I live? everyone is wandering around in pjs, go to the shop someone's there in pjs, bobbing out of each others houses in pjs, kids on the park not dressed. I don't even like putting the bin out in my pjsGrin am I missing a new craze or something

I blame re-runs of 'Friends'. Didn't Rachel wear pj bottoms for a while? Now lounging pyjamas a la Margot Ledbetter or Emma Peel are far more acceptable for the morning shop. To Waitrose.

Sure, 'moral' decline is an inappropriate word but it is a decline in standards.

It looked nice in the 40's with women in heels, hats and gloves - and men in suits and ties - and people dressing up to go out on dates or 'promenading'.

It's ok to think that it was 'nicer'.

I don't think it's part of some awful decline in life but when you see the occasional person dressed well in town or whatever people sneer a bit at them Sad

'There are war veterans who risked their lives for your freedom and watched their friends die - and you can't even be bothered to dress properly in public'

I may have wet myself a little laughing at this Grin

It may have looked nice but it smells a hell of a lot better now, in a world where indoor plumbing, daily showers, washing machines and deodorants are the norm.
