it is flaming ridiculous, there is so much that needs to be done and all I can think about is sleep.

I often need a sleep during the day. Desperate for one today.

dizzy77 · 07/06/2013 12:28

Thanks mrsjay! Preparing for the crash but enjoying it nonetheless.

This is making me feel a whole lot better! I thought I was alone in daytime napping!! Grin When DS2 sleeps, I usually sleep! In my defence DS1 has ADHD and is utterly exhausting when he isn't at school so I bolster my energy reserves during the day. I have a little sinking feeling at the weekend when I wake up and I know it isn't nap day!

mrsjay · 07/06/2013 12:40

oooh look nearly nap time Grin

WildlingPrincess · 07/06/2013 12:40

I nap too. I'm on tablets that knock me out though!

It depends, is something wrong medically? Anaemia and MS can cause fatigue so if someone has something like that then napping is probably a good idea.

Tailtwister · 07/06/2013 13:54

I have to say I'd nap every day given the chance. I've never been so tired as I have since having children. I seem to constantly ill too, what with all the bugs they bring back from nursery.

ditavonteesed · 07/06/2013 14:57

well it was the right choice, post nap I have finished all the washing, and written another 500 words for my essay and I feel a million times better for it :)

Naps are awesome! I don't nap much but when I do it's so relaxing!

mrsjay · 07/06/2013 15:17

Mobile rang disturbed my napAngry and it was a bloody PPI calll I is not a happy bunny

bigkidsdidit · 07/06/2013 15:21

I've just woken up, 2 hours here Shock

I didn't quite mean it to be that long (but in my defence I am 39 weeks pg)!

It was delicious

Crinkle77 · 07/06/2013 15:23

I love an afternoon nap. There is nothing nicer than coming home, switching the telly on low then drifting off to sleep. Only problem is I sleep for too long then find it really hard to come round.

girliefriend · 07/06/2013 15:45

I love a good nap and often factor one onto my day Grin

Nagoo · 07/06/2013 15:45

I nap whenever I can, but then I work funny hours.

melika · 07/06/2013 16:43

When I worked more hours I napped in my 20 minute break. I do nap if I feel the need, it's only a matter of 15-20 minutes and then I'm fine. I do wonder if there is something wrong. But I'm still here so there can't be!

JackieTheFart · 07/06/2013 16:45

YABU - totally!

Nothing better than a nap IMO. Also, I don't know what it is, but any sort of study - no matter how interesting I find it - sends me into nap mode.

Embrace the nap!

perplexedpirate · 07/06/2013 16:51

I think it's just the way you are made some people are nappers, some aren't.
I live a nap, and I always have from being about 17. I'm totally healthy, I just perform better with more sleep.

Musicaltheatremum · 07/06/2013 16:57

It's what you call a power nap. They can't be too long but it sounds as if you needed it and if you work well after it what's the problem. I'm sitting in my conservatory wondering if I should try a wee snooze toox

TwinkleSparkleBling · 07/06/2013 17:04

I had a lovely nap this afternoon.

My problem is the choice I often face, between napping or MN.

Life's full of dilemmas

Today is a bonus, DD1 is still asleep, dinner is in and DD2 is amusing herself so I get both Grin

wamabama · 07/06/2013 17:08

Yabu. It's good for your health to nap.
