To think Victoria Beckham really has it all? Baby Harper is too adorable for words

including her other kids.

I don't know if it's pretty shallow (but I like fancy stuff Grin) but I can't see many women refusing her life and wardrobe. I could do without the fame - have no interest in that at all.

VB has managed to:

  • Stay thin (something a lot of women would kill for)
  • All her children, esp Harper are adorable. No dodgy looking kids for her brood
  • So much money. Never ever has to worry about providing for her kids
  • She's attractive
  • Her Husband is pretty cool.
  • She has family support

She must know she has a pretty enviable life!

She makes having a family SO attractive. On the streets, I just see harassed parents.

I am not fussed if she has her kids on show there as her and davids children I don't think they are bad parents at all for having their kids on show she just annoys me and isn't a role model

woopsidaisy · 06/05/2013 20:27

She didn't swear at me. You did, because I called her a twat.

"Fucking lovely you are not."

squoosh · 06/05/2013 20:28

Because the children were never given a choice about being in the public eye.

Saski · 06/05/2013 20:28

She's obviously a bit more clever than was once assumed. I can't stretch this far enough to believe that To Kill a Mockingbird is her favorite book.

She comes off well in interviews; I think she pulls herself together beautifully, & I love her dresses. I don't have any strong feelings about her.

I would hate my children to be instantly recognisable if I was very rich and famous. Who knows what the lasting effects will be on the children? When they are adults and get interviewed about it we will find out.

Fairyloo · 06/05/2013 20:30

No evidence to suggest David cheated

Crunchymunchyhoneycakes · 06/05/2013 20:30

Victoria and David appeal to a certain demographic. Nothing about them is aspirational to me.

Ledkr · 06/05/2013 20:31

Other than the fact that he never really denied it properly like you would do if you were innocent

FreudiansSlipper · 06/05/2013 20:31

we all thought Michael Jackson was mad for taking childen out in masks, until his death they were able to go about their business and no one knew who they were

it was odd behaviour he was strange but he knew the damage living in the public eye could do they choose to live a very public life their childen have no choice in that it is just so not necessary but it creates more headlines for them

ExcuseTypos · 06/05/2013 20:32

Everlong, I think it makes them bad parents because they aren't protecting their children. Allowing photos of them to be taken and published means they are constantly followed.

Other celebs' children aren't constantly followed because there is no point- they wouldn't be allowed to publish any photos. So the Beckhams actively encourage the paparazzi circus.

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 20:32

Oh, I must be the wrong demographic-that makes sense Crunchy.

cocolepew · 06/05/2013 20:33

I can't understand why she is in the papers, everyday.
She constantly looks miserable, if she is so funny and a great sense if humour she hids it really well.
I have no time for anyone that is happy for a crowd of photographers to be constantly in their childrens faces.

thegreylady · 06/05/2013 20:34

I bet if everyone here who has a toddler girl put them in a line-up and included Harper then asked for a vote for the 'most adorable' then HB wouldn't make the top ten.
As for her mother, I have rarely seen her smile, she is far too thin and is just a rather empy headed ex pop star who has a has been husband with a squeaky voice.
They have money which would be nice but fame isn't fun and I wouldn't swap even if I were 30+ years younger.

mrsjay · 06/05/2013 20:34

people call people twats allt he time on here it isn't the best word to use but I said all she did was pout and when would she stop, what is the demograhaphic then

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 20:35

Because they are allowed to be photographed now it will continue into their adulthood. When the boys get girlfriends/got to University do anything they will be papped. How is that fair on the children?

MammaTJ · 06/05/2013 20:36

GOOD

Her kids are no more gorgous than mine.

My DP does not cheat on me.

I do not have to put up with paparazzi.

BAD

I am skint.

ON BALANCE

I prefer my life!!

mrsjay · 06/05/2013 20:36

TBF on them they only seem to let photographers papp the children on their terms I did read 1 of their sons had a seizure so he isnt photographed, I do think they are an engineered family and organise photoshoots but I guess they are not rare in celeb land

I would love to ask VB why they chose not to opt for the pixelating.

mrsjay · 06/05/2013 20:39

I always wondered what makes people so fame hungry I know it is all about attention but when does it start and sometimes they cant stop,

Crunchymunchyhoneycakes · 06/05/2013 20:39

I don't know, shallow and thick? Is that a demographic?

AKissIsNotAContract · 06/05/2013 20:39

one of her sons (perhaps more than one) has done modelling. He could hardly do that with his face pixelated.

Crunchymunchyhoneycakes · 06/05/2013 20:40

They want to get the children making money for the brand, is one of them not modelling for Burberry already?
