including her other kids.

I don't know if it's pretty shallow (but I like fancy stuff ) but I can't see many women refusing her life and wardrobe. I could do without the fame - have no interest in that at all.

VB has managed to:

Stay thin (something a lot of women would kill for)
All her children, esp Harper are adorable. No dodgy looking kids for her brood
So much money. Never ever has to worry about providing for her kids
She's attractive
Her Husband is pretty cool.
She has family support

She must know she has a pretty enviable life!

She makes having a family SO attractive. On the streets, I just see harassed parents.

David is on record that Harper was named after Vic's favourite author Harper Lee, who wrote 'To kill a mocking bird', that story of racism and social tension in the deep south.

She was the original vacuous wag, and proud of it. I am not saying she is horrible, she seems nice. But she is no role model, IMO.
I don't spend my life shredding women as a rule, but she puts herself out there. Fame is oxygen to her. She loves it.
She is obsessed by her appearance, and her weight. Not good traits in a role model.

I don't mind vb but I did titter about the Harper Lee story, I just don't buy it since she once said novels aren't her thing.

She is in a business obsessed with appearance and weight but she seems happy to be the face of her brand so makes the sacrifices she thinks are needed to maintain the press interest.

I have stated that I think she seems nice, but also ignorant-as she herself said she had never read a book. I think she starves herself to look good, and is obsessed by her appearance. I also said she seems like a good mum.
I don't think she is to be envied. I don't think she is a good role model. Just because she is rich and famous and a woman do I have to like her? She annoys me. There was a thread about her. I said how I feel.
Do you support and admireall women who are famous?

The money's nice. Would like the money. ButIi have to say I love my children who are better than anyone else's ever and my own husband.

If I could have any woman's life, I wouldn't want hers. Followed by the press, having to abstain from avocadoes because of the fat content, being torn apart for being too thin, yet being aware that gaining a single pound would be covered by the same journalists. No. Just no.

I wouldn't have the mental strength to withstand it.

VB generally escapes my wrath, if not an occasional eye roll, as long as she promises never to come out with some lifestyle guru-esque holy crapola website a la Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop.

I have read all of the thread. I don't support and admire all famous women. I haven't given my opinion of VB. It's not about her. It's about the fact that a person can have their life torn apart by complete strangers on a forum, just for being famous.

Because the Beckahms don't want them to be pixelated.

In the UK anyone under the age of 18 is entitled to privacy. So famous parents can apply to the court to ensure their children are not photographed and nothing is every published.

Lots of celebs do this, as mentioned in this thread.

The Beckhams choose not to and that's what I really dislike about them.

I like her, but I also feel sorry for her. It can't be easy having everyone think your dh is shagging around. And if it's true, she can't get divorced because they are a brand and their success/standing depends upon them being together.

Does the same apply to the US Excuse? I thought that the reason the Beckham children weren't pixelated was because they are in the US.

I don't think the laws are as strict in the US. But the Beckham children have always been in the papers, whichever country they are in.

And even if they were photographed in the US, if the Beckhams had the court order, the photos would not be allowed to be published in the UK.

Being that thin is not attractive and certainly not healthy looking. I have never seen her smile in a photo- not even in the Spice Girls reunion photo. That does not give a good/happy impression of her.

She does have good bone structure in her face, her DH looks good, and the kids certainly look happy and well adjusted.

She does not.

neither do I sparkling if it was katie price or peter andre most would be agreeing, I don't get all the VB love at all , and I think woop is getting a hard time for not really saying anything,

Oh and alot of US celeb children are pixalated they can go to court and get an order of somesort
