To think Victoria Beckham really has it all? Baby Harper is too adorable for words

I don't know if it's pretty shallow (but I like fancy stuff ) but I can't see many women refusing her life and wardrobe. I could do without the fame - have no interest in that at all.

VB has managed to:

• Stay thin (something a lot of women would kill for)
  
• All her children, esp Harper are adorable. No dodgy looking kids for her brood
  
• So much money. Never ever has to worry about providing for her kids
  
• She's attractive
  
• Her Husband is pretty cool.
  
• She has family support
  

She must know she has a pretty enviable life!

She makes having a family SO attractive. On the streets, I just see harassed parents.

Yeah I know, but what I meant was surely they now have more money in the bank than they could possibly want or need. If they stay together to preserve the 'brand' in order to gain even more money at the expense of their personal happiness - well, that just seems ridiculous. Surely there must be some love and affection there?

ClartyCarol it may be that a brand is worth more when the couple are together than apart, hence the popularity of "lavender marriages" in Hollywood, for personal or financial reasons.

I like her too. Not because of the fact she has gorgeous children..... I have them already! I think on her own she would actually be a laugh. ... She doesnt smile much because she thinks she doesnt look attractive if she smiles i thought

I like her. She appears to have very well adjusted, well mannered children and a supportive extended family. She also has a successful business in an industry she obviously loves.

Am I envious? No, I wouldn't want to sacrifice my privacy for all the fame and money with photographers everywhere, endless criticism and speculation about their life.

People in the public eye often appear to have it all, right up to the point where their marriages break down and they reveal the lies they've been living with, the cheating, the breakdowns, the drugs, the weird diets, the general misery...

I truly hope that Victoria Beckham has a better life than she appears to have.

Money isn't everything. Being thin shouldn't be an aspiration in itself. Gorgeous kids abound in this world, if you look for their good points rather than looking for their bad. And I wouldn't envy any other woman's life as I'm quite happy with my own. I'm chubbier than I should be, I'm not rich in terms of money and my child probably wouldn't pass most people's gorgeous-ometer, but she passes mine and that's all that matters. I pray that my child won't ever envy another person's life but will instead be content with her own.

fuzzywuzzy thats what I think too. She does deserve better treatment. I cant see her leaving him though shes in too deep in too many ways.

I feel sorry for her, she has always come across in interviews as very in love with her husband & always putting herself down saying she doesn't compare to him and is so astounded he's with her.


I hope she LTB & finds someone who really loves her right back.

MissHilly you have described a scenario that is probably typical for the Becks. We see so much but I think there is so much more we dont see/ hear about. If you want to put your life out there then you get opinions from people about you and your life.
I laughed when I saw the Vicky at the chippy photos!! I just dont get why they are always in the press? What is the big deal about them? I think they just got lucky. There are lots of reasons why I label them thick. Still I would never want their life in any way. Just imagine the convos between Vicky and Tana Ramsey about having serial shaggers for DHs !!

Squoosh There was an excellent article about in The Times a couple of years ago and it said a lot without actually saying it if you see what I mean. When Simon Fuller rescued Mouret he did so under a few conditions and yes, Victoria has never trained as a pattern cutter.

That is interesting MissHilly. A lot of her designs are quite Mouret-esque. I do remember hearing some murmurings about the speed of her development as a designer considering she'd never undertaken any formal training.

The Beckhams pay a lot of money for good PR and what you read about them is good for the brand which is worth millions. They can pay to make sure they rarely get negative press. I have heard that Roland Mouret has been very "influential" in Victoria Beckham's designs and of course, it is also interesting that Simon Fuller is Roland Mouret's business partner. Simon Fuller owns 50% of the business.

When I saw that photo of her recently with Harper and those heels, I was shocked, as imagined the possibility of her tripping up and/or losing her balance and falling over. Very dangerous with baby in arm and on hip especially when walking down steps.
