AIBU?

To think Victoria Beckham really has it all? Baby Harper is too adorable for words

including her other kids.

I don't know if it's pretty shallow (but I like fancy stuff Grin) but I can't see many women refusing her life and wardrobe. I could do without the fame - have no interest in that at all.

VB has managed to:

  • Stay thin (something a lot of women would kill for)
  • All her children, esp Harper are adorable. No dodgy looking kids for her brood
  • So much money. Never ever has to worry about providing for her kids
  • She's attractive
  • Her Husband is pretty cool.
  • She has family support

She must know she has a pretty enviable life!

She makes having a family SO attractive. On the streets, I just see harassed parents.

can't she afford a buggy, always lugging harper around, wearing giant heels - no wonder she looks miserable!

If you saw a photo of the Beckham children without their parents you would know them straight away.

I have no clue what Gwynnie and Chris Martin's children look like, and in every article their faces are pixelated.

I think they are a brand more than anything else and have a good team behind them to maintain this brand image which brings them in a lot of money.

I would not want her life at all. She always appears troubled tome and seemingly has few if any female friends, more like plenty of hangers on and acquaintances.

Whether they have a good marriage is only something that they know ultimately. Personally I do not think they look happy together and she is the one who rules the roost; he goes along with her wishes. He is also now in the twilight of his sporting career whilst hers is in the ascendency; that gives her power. If they are not happy behind closed doors the children will suffer emotionally as a result.

As irritating as they are at least Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin always have their kids faces pixelated in paparazzi shots.

I'd imagine it could be quite stressful being the well known child of an A List celeb pairing.

Why don't the Beckham lot have their faces pixelated?

I think she comes accross warm and funny in interviews. What's that saying 'if you've got nothing nice to say come and sit beside me'.

As for pitying her, there are plenty of women with mediocre husbands on MN who stand by them when they cheat. She chose to stick with her marriage and plenty of mumsnetters have done that.

She's not the only woman who's continually watching her weight. I do that! and I've no husband, or career, or em, money!

So, lol at pitying her.

But if you think of someone like JK Rowling, she has a complete blackout on pics of her kids in the press.

Anyway......a worry I'm unlikely ever to have whether or not to have a media ban on photos of my sprogs!

I have never seen Davina McCall's children. Or Holly Willoughby's. I haven't seen Fearne Cotton's baby either. How do they manage it.

She doesn't seem to have any friends though. That's what makes me feel sad for her. Yeah she has a gorgeous husband, 4 adorable kids, an amazing job and more money than she could use in a lifetime, but I just can't see her sat in a beer garden over a pint of Bulmers putting the world to rights.

Ewan McGregor's kids have never been seen and his must be teens by now. It can be done, just depends on whether you want to or not.

Victoria Beckham is fine.

Your OP is shallow and unpleasant and really doesn't show you in a very good light.

i can see that actually! i reckon she's got lots of opinons. sure if you see her interviewed, the opinions are bursting out of her. It's only lately that she plays the pr game. and if i were her (designer) I wouldn't touch a buggy with a ten foot pole either!! ANd say what you like about her but her clothes are to die for. I want a nice VB guna.

No I think it's definitely down to the lawyers and how they're instructed. Jude Law's kids are always pixelated too.

not that i'm fighting her battles for her but i don't get why people love to slag her off so much.

I think her bf is her sister. I'm sure being that famous would make you a bit cautious around people who are desperate to be your friend.

I just don't get the interest in her I think, or the Beckhams generally. Or why she is permanently being papped.
