Who should pay?

DP and I live together and his DS lives with us just over half the time. I'd say 60:40.

We're planning a two week holiday to a long haul destination over the summer holidays. DP is expecting me to go halves on all the costs but I don't think that's fair.

He also wants us all to share a hotel room. For two weeks I've said no way.

He thinks I'm BU because we're 'a family'. I just want my own bloody space and to enjoy the holiday I'm already forking out for.

Who is BU?

OP, you also referred to DSS as "her" several times. I understand if you're just changing RL details to avoid being "outed", but it is a little confusing.

We argued once on here, I forget what about, and then realised we live nearby.

He should pay for his DS and himself, with you paying your share. Look into a 2 bed apartment so you have some space in the evenings as a couple without disturbing the DS.

We went for 3 nights only with 5 of us in a double room, 2 of our DC and 1 DHs, it was very uncomfortable all round. We'd get an apartment if we all went again together for everyone's sanity.

Resentment of the mother getting csa, cb and ctc when shes not entitled to it.

Why has your dp been assessed by csa as owing the mother maintenance if he has his son 60%?

I think you should contribute some of the holiday for his son but maybe not 50%.

I think it wouldnt be enjoyable for dss to stay in your room.
