Being childless is a disability.
Oh and deafness prevents her from walking....

I met her once - I didn't know who she was otherwise I would have pushed her into the sea (we were in a harbour at the time).

When we were speaking, she neither appeared to be deaf, lipreading, or wearing a hearing aid.

She may be deaf, I don't know. Or she may be exaggerating for the sake of the article. Is it something she has mentioned before?

I agree that the best thing to do is to ignore her.

For whatever reason, she really wants to try to offend people. It may be attention seeking, or some bitterness in her life that she feels better about by lashing out at others, who knows?

But whatever it is, she's not worth it.

At the end of the day,she's a bitter person with nobody in her life who truly gives a crap about her, so much so that she's reduced to making up rock star boyfriends and that's worse than anything any of us can say or do. She's got to live, well, being her.

I really wouldn't waste your time thinking about her, if I were you.

The article offended me too, I am, also, disabled and there are far too many people with her attitude.

It's a brilliant niche. People make far more threads about articles they disagree with than those they find amazingly insightful. Liz Jones' latest article is frequently linked on here, and then another 50,000 click on it in competitive outrage. Ad revenue shoots up!

Just read it and am astounded at her -I thought she couldn't get worse! However, it is bloody hard trying to cross roads when you're deaf - as both me and dd are. It can be quite funny, as, on occasions, we both just stand there, even though there are no cars coming..just in case one appears Grin I wouldn't dream of being entitled to a badge though! insane.
