Can I throw 'Man Air' as a shortening of Manchester Airport into the mix?? My DMum says this and it makes me want to explode with rage for some reason - I just can't bear it. And she is going on holiday in a couple of weeks via this place and I am dropping her off and everything, so will be hearing it a lot.
