I just love it. What I really want to know is where is cheery littlebottom? According to mn the name is taken but I've never seen it.
So far I have spotted
MrsTerryPratchett
NannyOgg
Greebo
IShallWearMidnight
TiffanyAching

And quite a few others I can't recall right now.
Who haven't I spotted / remembered and where is cheery?

I am not one of yours, I am named after a different book character, but just wanted to add that I am sure I have seen a poster called 'The Luggage'. As you were.

Although if I had to be a discworld character I would have liked to be CMOT Dibbler but he is sadly already taken......... Maybe I should be the Librarian?

Oook Grin

I would have liked Really Stupid Johnson, I don't know the character but it incorporates part of my name nicely! (I'll leave you all to figure it out Grin)

You could be Oook Stanley?

My 6 year old loves listening to TP audio books, though he's not keen yet on Dodger. The themes in Midnight dont seem to worry him, and things are put such that they are often a bit oblique to the younger listener.

My DS is named after Samuel Vimes. I do realise it's not an unusual name by any means, but that is definitely who is named after! I was reading a Discworld novel (I think Thud?) when pregnant, in which Vimes dashes across town to read his son, Sam, a bedtime story. It made me smile and I also realised I loved both the full name and the abbreviation.

I've been thinking about a name change for a while now; I think this thread had inspired me to look to the Discworld!

Have name changed in honour of this thread
I still remember when I first picked up the colour of magic and how much I bloody loved it. Terry pratchett is a hero.

I could do with a name change actually and it would have to be a TP/Discworld one...but so many choices, and so many snaffled!

Has anyone taken DriedFrogPills (if you know what I mean!) yet?

The audio books are a great way of introducing brainwashing kids to the discworld.
Although i always worry about overdoing it. My friend put me off the discworld in school it took me another five years to understand why she was so excited about it.
I bought my (discworld mad) friends daughter nation on audio book her response on opening it was " Mum, I think this is for you" Hmm
Luggage I have not seen luggage around... Wow I neeeed a luggage
