and then, if it turns out you're a lying, pisstaking, attention seeking troll, mnhq should debit your card £250 and pay someone to come round to your house and shove your keyboard right up your arse?

well?

Manictigger · 17/01/2013 14:08

Verbally sort of rhymes with hyperbole.

Ah, Damn language.

I am still in favour of a troll tax!

HappyGoLuckyGirl · 17/01/2013 14:12

BeerTricksPotter - I do have my moments. Grin

Turdus - is it not the crazy MIL thread? It reached the max number of posts. There's a related, new one though...

HappyGoLuckyGirl · 17/01/2013 14:15

Oh no...seems it has been deleted. I now see what you meant. Oops.

lurkedtoolong · 17/01/2013 14:18

Maybe there could be some kind of compensation scheme. Bitch kept me up all night - I deserve a bottle of gin as payment for my time. I approve of your plan.

fuzzypicklehead · 17/01/2013 14:19

I volunteer to help start this new system. You can all pm me your credit card details now. Grin

HecateWhoopass · 17/01/2013 14:21

My bedtime song was a troll song.

I can only remember the end. When my mum would back out of the room, singing "I'm a big, bad troll and I'm mean. I don't mean maybe. I'm a big, bad troll and I'm mean. You'd better believe it. I'm a big, bad troll and Iiiiiiiiii'm meeeeeeeeeeeeeean."

with jazz hands.

I remember the jazz hands.

Hmm I never stood a chance of being normal Grin

I think after they have been outed they should be allowed a final post, in that post they must admit to who they are and what it is that is 'not all it seems'
I need to know!

purrpurr · 17/01/2013 14:28

I would be quite happy to make a small donation to Mumsnet purely based on two things: ALL the threads in the Classics section and a particular thread last night (with a follow up thread this morning), was lucky enough to be around to read entirety of both before they vanished, proper good armchair reading.

Sparklingbrook · 17/01/2013 14:30

can we have smaller fines for other crimes. Like mentioning boiling ham in coke for the bajillionth time etc?

valiumredhead · 17/01/2013 15:43

Fines? People need shooting for boiling ham in coke!

Tee2072 · 17/01/2013 15:51

If she hadn't been a tool it would have you have gone into classics as an example on how not to be a MIL.

And brilliant idea hec!

Tee2072 · 17/01/2013 15:52

Troll dammit!

HecateWhoopass · 17/01/2013 16:02

Tool works as well Wink

VisualiseAHorse · 17/01/2013 16:20

What would MNHQ do with the £250?

Tee2072 · 17/01/2013 16:22

Increase server space, Vis

HecateWhoopass · 17/01/2013 16:24

No.
Pay me to go round.
I said.

Keyboard up arse time.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 17/01/2013 16:27

Brilliant idea.

MNHQ could use the money as a carrot-and-stick system, so if you report dubious threads nicely to HQ and stop commenting on the thread, you get a cash prize. But if you don't report and get your amateur Poirot on, you get a deduction.

If it turns out to be a repeatedly-banned troll and you're instrumental in reporting it, you get the jackpot.

thegreylady · 17/01/2013 16:30

hyperbole rhymes with trolley which is very apt :)

PacificDogwood · 17/01/2013 17:04

The thought of Hecate coming roune to do unspeakable things with a keyboard should be enough to put anybody off trolling, nevermind the 250 quid

Would somebody kindly direct me to the new MiL thread? Purleeze? I am agog and fascinated by that whole thing...

PacificDogwood · 17/01/2013 17:05

round

MurderOfGoths · 17/01/2013 17:06

It's gone Pacific
