to wonder if this girl will actually get £150k+ for her £15 dress?

Yesterday a girl listed her dress on ebay for £15. What she didn't notice was that people could see her reflection in the mirror - with no underwear on!! The photo circulated around the internet and she's relisted the dress. Bids are now at £150k+. Will she actually get that much? I'm assuming they're all joke bids and won't pay up?

Not sure how it works but similar thing happened with a bloke selling a camera that he was selling due to it being his ex wifes who cheated on him, he wrote a sob story and bids were huge think eBay took that down in the end

MilkshakeMaker · 15/01/2013 13:55

And that one with the mum selling the kids beyblades with the pic of the kids holding them up with sad faces. She put a story saying they played with them in the bath and damaged it so was selling them to pay for the damage... Cant remember exact amount but it got silly and ebay took it down too.

deleted203 · 15/01/2013 13:59

That's just bizarre. She isn't even naked or anything - simply wearing a fleece (and pants) one presumes. Why on earth would anyone feel they needed to put a bid in?

MaryPoppinsBag · 15/01/2013 14:01

She was nekid from the waste down in the pictures I saw on FB yesterday.

Indith · 15/01/2013 14:02

Didn't notice you could see her reflection? Hmm

Of course she noticed. She's hoping for a decent amount of money tis all, just like people are "surprised" when their tattered old shoes with pictures of their pretty pedicured foot in them go for more than they are worth.

HecatePropolos · 15/01/2013 14:02

She didn't notice? Yeah, sure she 'didn't notice' Grin

You innocent sweet thing you... Wink

IDrankAllTheGravy · 15/01/2013 14:04

Eh? That's a totally different picture to the one I saw on fb.

She must know that she's on the photograph as she would have put it on there and it's as clear as day. I doubt she'll get 150K, I imagine eBay will take it down.

ChocHobNob · 15/01/2013 14:05

She has relisted it with a different picture. In the original one she was in the mirror reflection with just a bra on.

Chopsypie · 15/01/2013 14:06

Thats actually the second auction, the first one she took she was naked I think. Certainly the first pic I saw was different to that one.

eggs11 · 15/01/2013 14:06

she was naked in the original photo, and has relisted the dress and is clothed (sort of!)

Her seller name is sugartit so she doesn't sound too innocent!

LittleChimneyDroppings · 15/01/2013 14:08

Eh? That's a totally different picture to the one I saw on fb.

yeah I saw that. She was just wearing a bra and nothing else on the fb one. But now she's wearing a coat.

IDrankAllTheGravy · 15/01/2013 14:08

Ahh, I see now.

I can see how she didn't realise on the first listing, it took me a while to see it anyway. God knows why she's done it again on purpose for the second listing Confused

Indith · 15/01/2013 14:12

I still think she noticed in the first picture. Leave it up just long enough for it to go viral then post second picture offering a tantilising teaser of what is underneath by being nekkid apart from a top of the thigh skimming coat.

But hey if the ££ roll in Grin

HollyTheHedgehog · 15/01/2013 14:13

The ons posted on this thread is her 'second time' posting it. Obviously she had to take it down the first time.

Of course no one will buy it for 150k

Flisspaps · 15/01/2013 14:19

Wtf does her being called 'sugartit' have to do with anything, dexter?!

diddl · 15/01/2013 14:20

That´s just mad!!

Wouldn´t have given the starting price for it tbh.

Maybe she just isn´t a pants wearer?

I can see if she´s trying stuff on she might end up in underwear-but a bra & no pants??!!

Do people not check pics before they put them on, thenHmm?

How could you no notice.

Although, there was a poster wasn´t there whose husband had to tell her at the swimming pool that her bottom half was uncovered?Grin

Indith · 15/01/2013 14:23

Your minge! I can see your minge!

Ah yes, that is a MN legend Diddl and never ails to make me Grin. Thanks for the reminder!

dexter73 · 15/01/2013 14:25

Someone further up the thread said something about it being innocent and I thought that someone who called themselves sugartit on an auction site didn't sound particularly innocent.

HecatePropolos · 15/01/2013 14:31

do you mean me?

I said the OP is an innocent sweet thing to think that the seller didn't notice.

eggs11 · 15/01/2013 14:42

yes i'm so innocet hectate Hmm
