to wish Leonard and Penny don't end up together?

I love BBT. I don't love Penny and Leonard.

I have for years worked with blokes just like the characters in this programme. I have a real soft spot for chaps like this as Maryz describes.

I hope Penny and Leonard don't end up together - I don't like them as a couple. It's like Monica and Chandler. WRONG.

Any yes, Pria is awful

I have trouble picking a favourite in this, it's such a good ensemble cast - Amy, Bernadette, Mary Cooper, Sheldon, Leonard's mum (Christine Baranski, who was Cybill's friend in Cybill) - even Howard is so good at being so awful

It's a good job it's so watchable, as it seems to be on E4 on a constant loop, all day.

Yup, and my DS is addicted. I've seen some episodes so many times I can quote the script along with them.

"Ooh Penny, it's like the Cheesecake Factory is run by witches"

I love Christine Baranski, she's great in everything she does. I like the relationship between her as Leonard's mum and Sheldon.

I'd like Amy to end up with Penny Smile

I guess her dh/do helps?
When I home schooled I did the "work" (workbooks etc) and dh did the "fun" (visits, trips etc)

We enjoyed it and did it for a year.
Much much more common in the USA than anywhere else though.

As far as I understand it, she doesn't work 9-5 full time either, she films BBT for a chunk of the year and is at home for the rest. She spends that time home edding, writing articles, blogs etc.

I'm sure I recall her DH did help at lot but they separated in November.

I used to work with someone called Pria, and I now realise I wanted throw my feces at her, not in a sexual, you've got my man type of way, just in a OMG shut up! shut up! shut up! way

I got the faeces-throwing comment too! Although I was going to pretend not to, just to make you feel crazy! There are some episodes where I dislike Raj, like when he's commenting on every card put down in their game, but on the whole I think he's 'a lamb'! Wink

The ball-pit episode is the best ever for comedy value but having done a couple of years of a physics degree even I could've figured out that it needed to be considered as a wave. That's practically Physics101 & there's no way the great Sheldor wouldn't have figured that out straight away! Kinda spoils the episode as a whole but the ball-pit scene is hysterical!

I need to get out more. Blush

I don't think Leonard is as nice as he's meant to be - he's really, really patronising to Penny and a bit of jerk all round - or rather, he's become more of a jerk as the series progresses. (Team Penny:)) Pria is awful but quite frankly they deserve each other (would throw faeces at both of them).

I LOVE Lesley Winkle. And even though I hated Wesley Crusher in STNG I have a big soft spot for Wil Wheeton. The whole thing is so well played, even the minor, minor characters are fab (Captain Sweatpants, anyone?)

Does anyone know why Howard always wears those hideous turtlenecks? Does he have some kind of RL scar on his neck or is it just part of his character that we'll just have to wonder about?
