AIBU That Mumsnet won't allow any discussion on the Sally Roberts case?

There's something about her that is media hungry - if she hasn't sold her story to a tabloid or glossy mag in the next week then I'll take it back. But more importantly, WHY is Mumsnet towers deleting any threads discussing the case?

I agree its all random. I made a comment way back about the op which still stands , repeated that comment last night and was deleted.

It's all perspective though, and just because you, or we, or most of the site, think someone is a twat, doesn't mean they are. IYSWIM

someone could think something you said was beyond twattish, and call you a bastard, you and probably others would think no I'm not, I'm right.
MNHQ can't adjudicate every slight so have to go with 'no cunt calling' regardless!

Agree that sometimes doesn't make any sense though, like the mad as a box of frogs thing, that was...... mad?!

Blimey, this thread has moved on somewhat since I posted! Thank you to everyone for their kind comments about my post re DS's treatment. We are very proud of him, but I won't pretend it wasn't a long hard slog, with very many challenges. For us it was the right decision to opt for radiotherapy but every case is different of course.

For all of you who are going through this and have been through this I wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas.
