We don't have a problem with fucking swearing. We never have and never will.

But we do think that telling someone to 'fuck off' is a personal attack, unless it's clearly a joke.

I agree with that everlong.

There is a difference between an attack (not allowed) and an observation, which should be allowed. So you should be able to say "I really think your comments are absolutely disgusting, and you should be ashamed of yourself for saying X, Y or Z".

But it depends on whether you are reported or not . And on who is on duty. And on how contentious the thread has become.

But imo if people are being intentionally obnoxious twats, we should be able to point out that fact.
