I think I'm definitely an outsider on MN, my kids arent gifted, we aren't rich, dammit we both have the work, full time! we don't live in a castle, shopat waitrose and certainly don't eat this good ham that y'all talk about Grin

Maybe I just go back under my rock?

cantspel · 25/11/2012 20:53

I never knew boden existed until i found mn and i dont know anyone in real life who buys from them.

MadameOneSword · 25/11/2012 21:01

You lot have made my day, I like it under our rock! Maybe we should put one of those giant inflatable snowmen outside for Xmas lol

Me too...

Had never heard of mooncups, attachment parenting or Ocado before joining Mumsnet. Do not drink much wine (too poor Grin).

cantspel · 25/11/2012 21:03

I already have a plastic light up santa and snowman which sit outside the front door all christmas lol

MadameOneSword · 25/11/2012 21:04

Mooncups are gross, sorry

OP posts:
ssd · 25/11/2012 21:06

mooncups...boak

MadameOneSword · 25/11/2012 21:07

OP posts:
cantspel · 25/11/2012 21:09

I want to know what marketing genius came up with the name mooncup.

What does the moon have to do with a bit of plastic you shove up your foo?
And a cup is fro drinking tea out of not collecting bodily fluids.

cantspel · 25/11/2012 21:10

black christmas trees are just a step too far lol

MadameOneSword · 25/11/2012 21:10

Lol! It's kinds like a funnel really. Just use a funnel lol...might chaff?

OP posts:
InNeedOfBrandy · 25/11/2012 21:11

I wondered who bought the black tree's.... tell me it's not upside down!

bellechristmas · 25/11/2012 21:12

My DH and I also both work full time, I wear size 20 clothes from Sainsburys, DS is coping at a normal state school, I shop at Aldi and we live in a tatty rented house. Bloody hell, my DS even drinks Coke and I put sugar on his weetabix!

Is sugar on weetabix a no go then? No-one told me.
Tries to squeeze in under the rock.

MadameOneSword · 25/11/2012 21:12

We inherited it with the flat lol didn't seem right to get another one When this one was well, free.

I shud also point out its chained to the radiator with a bike lock so dd2 can't pull it on top of herself (again)

OP posts:
MadameOneSword · 25/11/2012 21:13

Of course it's not upside down!!! What's the point of that!!! Lol

InNeedOfBrandy · 25/11/2012 21:14

A white one would really go well in my living room but Iv'e promised myself (after I chucked last years fake green one away as I couldn't unscrew it) I'm having a real one this year.

Arisbottle · 25/11/2012 21:14

I do shop in Waitrose, Boden et al but still do not fit in here. They day I feel like I fit in is the day I realise I have sold out and I leave.

cantspel · 25/11/2012 21:14

Nooooooo You have more chance of me using washable pads then sticking random bits of plastic my there.

But then i would only consider washable pads if we have had a zombie apocalypse and i couldn't get down to asda to buy a pack of bodyform.

Marzipanface · 25/11/2012 21:16

I'd never heard of Boden before I came here.

Have I fucked up mentioning the fruit and chicken?
