I think I'm definitely an outsider on MN, my kids arent gifted, we aren't rich, dammit we both have the work, full time! we don't live in a castle, shopat waitrose and certainly don't eat this good ham that y'all talk about Grin

Maybe I just go back under my rock?

I think painting our rock is supposed to be a felicitous attack, but I don't understand the reference Confused so I think we're okay!

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 20:35

Currently, my daughters, aged 3 and 6 are singing ds bedtime songs....they're going with the classics, we've had call me maybe and now were being treated to a round of The HIGHLY appropriate flo rida...low low low low, the most disturbing part is they're dancing like they mean it.

My dd loves Rihanna, I have been treated to a few wtfs on here for that! But she loves her and it's better then another drippy blonde.

MadameOneSword · 26/11/2012 20:39

My husband let the kids listen to nikki minge over summer...and told them that Part in the middle of star ships says we're having a nervous meltdown. It doesn't.

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 20:40

I don't mind a bit of nicki either, although I wouldn't buy it. 1xtra is the radio station thats on all the time in my house.

MadameOneSword · 26/11/2012 20:42

I've never seen him move so fast than at his dads birthday party, the girls were singing it in the garden and the part where it says I ain't paying my rent this month, I know that....but _ who you want......

My 4 year old was singing to LMFAO in the car today. I'm sexy and I know it Grin

InNeedOfBrandy · 26/11/2012 20:44

Grin I find it so funny they're so innocent they don't have a clue.

UrbanSpaceManBaby · 26/11/2012 20:45

What have you cheese string guzzling people done? That Farrow & Ball paint is £45 a tin, that would keep you in cheap booze for weeks Grin

MadameOneSword · 26/11/2012 20:48

45 quid a tin??? That should be a crime?? Theres starving kids out there...

That's made me feel a bit ill

My favourite posts to lurk on are here ones, there's one currently, where people moan about they're £10,000 a term schools....I just sit there thinking, fuck it love, mines free and I've got very few complaints!

Those are the ones where I feel like I'm watching things in a zoo...

I don't know where I fit in.

Come from an average middle class family, have a degree, eat healthily (vegetarian, so lots of veg), love nice wine, love vintage, eat some organic, cloth or eco nappies for my boy, breastfeed 3 year old, babywear, did blw, think mooncups are great & washable pads too.

On the other hand, had my son at 25, am a single mum on benefits, buy all clothes from charity shops and ebay, shop in Lidl. I am skint.

Think I'm probably just a bit of a hippy.

Cbh1978 · 26/11/2012 21:58

What is ham? Is it like pastrami?

Oblomov · 27/11/2012 06:46

Convert , my 4 yr old was singing exactly the same, yesterday. My 2 (8 & 4) love LMFAO, as do I.

Figgygal · 27/11/2012 20:23
