Noone really knows who ScrambledSmegs is - his/her real identity is shrouded in mystery.

But I uncovered a secret code, buried deep in the backwaters of an obscure cycling forum, that suggested that she is actually a one-eyed postman of Nordic descent, currently living and working in St Bees.

But the code also contained some rather alarming references to Veronica and the impending apocalyptical end of Mumsnet, so I was a litle distracted and may have misinterpreted some of the information about Postman Olaf.....

I never talk about the Moldies as a general rule ever since I bonded by mistake with DP on a Moldies thread. But I have to say that the bit I love best about the whole thing was that it kicked off on a thread about 'why don't you fuckers wot we rejected miss us more. We are fucking ace and yet you rarely talk about how fucking ace we are.'

It's taken years of therapy for her to be able to mention it now.

The people who are alleged to have been on or invited to Moldies seems to be on a par with the amount of people who saw the Beatles play at the Cavern, or saw the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park.

I can't cope thinking about DP. I remember when she asked on facebook if she could come to the spring meet up last year, after she had been banned.

I did find it very funny that for a good 2 years after the moldies madness if there was a SLIGHT mention of the M word on any MN thread, all the moldies and their foot soldiers came out of the woodwork and started saying how they had been unfairly maligned. They did seem to want the red carpet treatment as well when they deigned to visit as well.
