It was bizarre. I went to the Xmas meet up that year and met some lovely people. Justine and Carrie were there. Everyone was being lovely to everyone. And all the while some people had already voted on and vetoed people who were there. And in fact voted on and vetoed people who they knew in RL and had stayed with at one point if I remember correctly.

As a complete and utter aside,Justine is in this months Glamour magazine.

She came back under at least two other names and while I may have inadvertently bonded with one of them, owing to persistent and fawning stalking, there was absolutely no leg and neck action.

I did laugh though that they had invited Justine for dinner. I always thought that Jstine had inadvertently outed the moldies. Do you think that she did in on purpose to get rid of them knowing what would ensue? How wonderfully machiavellian if so.

Despite the insinuations of some , I actually think it was inadvertent rather than deliberate. I know that she was very, very upset about the whole thing.

OK - I take that back then. I didn't know that she had been so upset by it all.

I had a MN free couple of months that winter - I came back and the atmosphere was like when Chandler pee'd on Monica in Friends. So I missed it all and just witnessed the aftermath.

Why do we always bring up Mouldies near Xmas? Justine always turns up and threatens to shut the site down for the holidays if we do. Can't we do these threads in June, when it's sunny and the 6 weeks holiday trolls are still busy?

Well it's been very interesting reading over last couple of days although I missed last night's.
It all reminds me of when I used to write on a review site called Ciao. At first I assumed it was just a review site. How wrong was I!! There were the equivalent of the Moldies there who lorded it and wrote the nastiest and bitchiest comments on newbies reviews. My reviews were mostly humorous and this was frowned upon by the elite.
The vilest one who thought she was queen ended up stalking me on whichever forum I went on leaving nasty messages that actually had me quite shaken for a while.
I made some really good friends there who I still talk to now, one of them came from the opposite end of the country for my birthday.
I see the witch as we have mutual friends on fb and wonder how I ever let her get to me so much.
Seems wherever you have a large group of people on a forum you are going to get the bitchy, the vile, the stalkers, the affairs and the really nice people like me
