Door bell goes and as im sat with ds on my knee feeding him i asked dp to get the door (secretly already knowing it was Jehovah's Witnesses), so off he goes thinking its his dad popped round.

He opened the door and was faced with 2 older gentlemen whose first words to him where " Hello, Can i ask do you have a question you'd like to ask god?"

My dp thought for a few seconds and goes, " yes, how can i get rid of this flu? Ive tried beechams and lemsips but nothing shifting it!"

The 2 men stood stoney faced and persuaded him to look into his sole for meanings of being unwell i could see them through the window and just couldnt stop laughing

ghost - you don't give a flying fuck about what they will catch but they do - that is why they walk the streets and knock on doors to catch fish and to catch a fish you need to be nice - not horrid, it makes sense if you want someone to join your group you are friendly and welcoming.

Oh yes IVY because that always happens doesnt it salesmen are paid to get the sales in but we've all had experiences with them being tossers! JW are the same. They're human, they will slip. ghost salesmen have egos larger than the empire state building so it is easy to knock there ego and the little tossers erupt.

JW are brianwashed into knocking doors and prepared for the knock backs, they need to recruit as it is part of belong into the church they are in - I think, so they are very much less likely to slip up when they are out recruiting. But why advertiser who they are? Then say something nasty?

They say we are JW then they say something horrid - and all this at 7am in the morning, bit early to be canvassing people to convert to be JW and with a bit of an attitude to boot. Not your commonal garden JW

InSPsFanjo clearly there's some kind of conspiracy. Fake JWs being horrible and offensive, just to give the real JWs a bad name.

I was on my way home, they stop and stare, ask them what they want, 'to share the word of jehovah' or whatever they said, I say no thanks, they look awkward and comment on my skirt and try to hand me a leaflet. I tell them to do one. Its not hard, nor odd.

I see them about once a month, I live up the road from the hall they go to.

I don't know why I'm trying to prove myself, I just hate being called a liar.
