Dd told me a black coat was brown today as a reason not to wear it. I stood at the foot of the staris at 10 to eight screaming, it's black it's black you're insane, I don't care if you don't wear it, you have to say it's black.

She looked at me all coldly and said, You're the one with glasses. Goodbye.

And left sans coat.

I went in the kitchen and tried to drown myself in the sink.

That, amillion, is how you make me feel.

OhChristFENTON · 05/10/2012 11:56

I can't believe that two weeks on were are still talking about the bullying of Tee which never even happened Grin

FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:56

It's a tad sore tbh, and I changed the dressing yesterday. It's disgusting Grin. DD3 thought it was marvellous and declared the stitches are like a giant spider Hmm

FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:56

Hully - she is your daughter.....

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 11:57

that's what BARSTARD dh says

FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:59

Leave him I say.

FunnysInLaJardin · 05/10/2012 11:59

Grin Hully, that has really made me laugh

OP posts:
Hullygully · 05/10/2012 12:01

she's a right cah, Funnys

Pagwatch · 05/10/2012 12:03

I love your DD Hully.
You have years more of this shit Grin

BigStickBIWI · 05/10/2012 12:04

And as well as the PO, we now also, it would seem, have the PRIM - the Private Message brigade who are terrified of being seen to post but will happily whisper privately into other posters' ears

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 12:08

Ooo yes, I like the PRIM

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 12:11

Can you imagine bothering to send pms saying Go on, go on get em...

greenhill · 05/10/2012 12:18

I want to know if the PRIM are regular goaders or stirring lurkers and under the radar

amillionyears · 05/10/2012 12:40

The larkers group as you call yourselves.
Are about 40 in number.
Some are somewhat on the outside of it.
Some have been in it longer than others.
And for the sake of KatieScarlet who keeps asking is she in the group, yes she is.

You all do sometimes work by piling in.
And this is where I think problems can arise.
How for instance do you manage to do that so quickly?
Do some of you FB or pm each other and say "Oi,come and look at this?"

I think I thought, and maybe other MNs do too, that you were all closer than some of you are.
I dont know. Some of you have meet ups I believe.

There does seem to be other talk on FB amongst yourselves, dont know how much.

The piling in mentality, can and does, seem a bit much to others on MN.
There appear to be in jokes, and this is where some misunderstanding between you and the other MNetters can seem to occur.

Re that thread.I have reread it.No Pagwatch, you do not appear to be upsetting Tee in the slightest. As I think I have said before, twice?

There are a lot of jokes going on in there, that from an outsiders pov,can look like all sorts tbh.
And the fact that Tee had left, ovbiously irritated quite quickly by some responses on there, can also suggest some things to outsiders, which may or may not be true.

amillionyears · 05/10/2012 12:44

I dont and shant feel remotely bullied,so dont worry about what you say to me.

IvorHughJanus · 05/10/2012 12:46

My head is tilted to such a degree that I have read this entire thread upside down.

Oh yes.

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 12:46

I'm starting to wonder if you are entirely real, tbh

IvorHughJanus · 05/10/2012 12:47

I've been PRIM'd before. It does happen. I tend to ignore them.

Pagwatch · 05/10/2012 12:50

Well at least it is better that you come out and say that instead of all the 'unintentional' film flam.

I have never talked about mn on Facebook.
I have about twenty friends on Facebook, mostly family. I rarely use Facebook.
I have never sent a pm to anyone asking them to join a thread
If anyone sent me any kind of a message suggesting I joined a thread I would think they were an arse.
I click on active conversations and open anything that catches my eye.

I think you would be better served not assuming that everyone who you see exchanging chat is a mate and a bully.

You may have said, twice, that I was not bullying and yet you continued to imply and suggest that it may have looked or felt like bullying. which is a bit shitty really.

IvorHughJanus · 05/10/2012 12:54

Pag, no one would ever in a million years (arf) think you would or could 'bully' anyone on here. It's just bollocks. No idea why that particular thread is getting such an intense post-mortem but it's just bloody daft.

FancyPuffin · 05/10/2012 12:54

What the actual fuck!

You have all been told about making friends with each other. It's rude and nasty and bullying. Honestly, anyone would think this was a forum in which we should interact with each other.

LadyBeagleEyes · 05/10/2012 12:58

I do get loads of the so called in jokes, if I don't I just ask.
And it's always explained nicely.
The reason I do get them is not a good one, it just means I spend far too much time on MN and have no life Grin
I don't pile in, every thread I comment on is on an individual basis.
And no, I've never pm'd anybody to say come and look at this, and would be surprised if people did.
We all have our own POVs, I won't be influenced by anybody else and hopefully everybody else feels the same.
Having said that, you can't stop genuine friendships forming on MN, why would you want to?
Can't you just like people who's names you get to know and who make you laugh or think.?
Surely that can only be a good thing.

Mintyy · 05/10/2012 12:59

amillionyears: I think you are wrong about "the larkers group" and facebook or pms. As I said earlier, some of us might appear on threads together a lot of the time but that is because there are usually only a handful of threads a day that are of any interest to dried up old crepeys like us who have mainly done the pregnancy, baby and toddler stages and have also been on Mumsnet long enough to have endured about 100 threads on shoes on/off in the house, 200 on smelly washing machines and 1000 on sahm/wohm. Hope that reassures you.

amillionyears · 05/10/2012 12:59

Pagwatch, would you like me to pm you?
Or say some more on here?
Or stop posting about it.

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 12:59

amillion

you are either very rude

or very mad

which is it?
