Thank you Hully,thank you MaryZed.

Pagwatch · 05/10/2012 11:15

Amillionyears
You have no reason to apologise.
I was just very frustrated because I absoloutely knew that a) I was not bullying Tee b) she was not in anyway interacting with me or others on that thread to suggest she was being bullied and c) the fact that I kept saying that quite earnestly seemed to be having no effect.

I also understand the big group dynamic. I was one of the people on that thread who said a couple of times that piling in does happen.

I have to say that I think the notion of light bullying is nonsense. Bullying is bullying. It is nasty and it is intentional.
I was bullied. I have a current thread about my DD being bullied.
Light bullying does not exist. I was not lightly bullying Tee. I was being bloody nice to Tee.

Tee2072 · 05/10/2012 11:29

"If Tee is sure that she was in no way bullied, then I apologise."

Stop trying to convince me I was bullied. I wasn't. I never have been on MN or any where else on the Internet.

amillionyears · 05/10/2012 11:30

Pagwatch,I did not think that you in particular were bullying Tee,if at all.

I would disagree with your point b.
She wasnt interacting with anyone, she disappeared for 2 days.
But she did disappear from her thread,so really the thread should have stopped when people realised that had happened.

I am also surprised to learn since, that people appear not to have checked up on Tee up until recently.

I agree that light bullying is bullying.
And I have to say I do think there was bullying, light or otherwise on that thread. Maybe not by all,but by some. It would partly depend on who knew who,and apparently what axes they had to grind.
I think I am right in saying, that a person does not have to think they have been bullied, for bullying to have occured.

You may have personally been nice to Tee,I did not notice your posts in particular.

amillionyears · 05/10/2012 11:32

x post with Tee.
It may be time for me to stop posting about this particular subject.

Tee2072 · 05/10/2012 11:34

FFS. Are you listening to anyone?!?!?

I left that thread due to boredom and being sick of repeating myself. I was all over MN, FB, Twitter, etc etc etc,

No one "checked up" in me because there was nothing to check!!!!!

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 11:36

blimey amillion

you really are into this bullying idea aren't you?!

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 11:36

Do you think you might be a little over-invested?

Tee2072 · 05/10/2012 11:39

Honestly, I'm starting to feel bullied into admitting I was bullied!!!

OhChristFENTON · 05/10/2012 11:41

I'm going to have to do it

Are you SURE you were okay, Tee?

::tilts head completely off::

Pagwatch · 05/10/2012 11:42

You did not notice my posts in particular?

That goes quite a long way to explain where some of this problem comes from.

You have lumped me into some group based upon seeing some posting a running joke. The initial tone of that thread was hostile and so you have lumped everyone into a group as if they know each other, act as one and are supporting or backing up each other.

You also assume that 'we' should contact Tee. I don't know Tee. Well I know her name and she seems a good sort. But it wouldn't occur to me to contact her because I had no reason to think she was upset and I was posting on the thread standing up for her against the snarky fuckers.

I don't pm people. I have a sent folder with about 12 posts in it.

I know I am banging on but to be honest it is starting to irritate me that you are quite thoroughly determined that I was bullying her. Calling it unintentional or light bullying or axe grinding or whatever is still effectively calling me a bully. The truth is you clearly did not understand the interaction on that thread and your persistence that Tee was bullied (by a group I was in) in spite of my denials, Tees denial and in spite of your not actually having noticed what I said is flabbergasting.

I am quite irritated tbh.

ClippedPhoenix · 05/10/2012 11:42

Are you all pissed? Grin

Pagwatch · 05/10/2012 11:44

I am not pissed but the idea is increasingly tempting.

FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:44

Seriously - if Tee ever felt bullied at any time, believe me she would crush the person in two words. She is very very good like that, and a stronger, kinder, smarter person would be hard to find.

FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:46

And Pag bullying? She would be the last person on earth to bully anyone. This makes me quite cross. And quite cross for me this week is not a good thing.

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 11:48

There's no point to all this. It's like arguing with my teenage dd about wearing a coat in the rain.

OhChristFENTON · 05/10/2012 11:49

amillionyears "It may be time for me to stop posting about this particular subject"

::looks at ship sailing almost out of view on the horizon::

Tee2072 · 05/10/2012 11:49

Blush Thank you Frank. The cheque is in the post.

Grin
FunnysInLaJardin · 05/10/2012 11:50

Hully you can't say 'Shut up you mad arse' that is a PA, you have to say 'Shut up, you sound like a mad arse and here's a convincing argument why'

OP posts:
FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:50

Yes Hully. What IS it about them and their sodding coats? Even DD3 acts like her bloody sisters and refuses. She's 3 FFS, not a teenager.

ClippedPhoenix · 05/10/2012 11:51

I just read the thread, well some of it and have to say I didn't get what was going on Confused. It sort of read like the OP was being funny, no-one got that she was being funny, she got a bit huffy and off it all went.

It wasn't one of the nasty ones at all.

Verdict - not bullied Grin

FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:52

No check needed Tee my lovely. Tis the troof innit. Anyone that even vaguely knows you on here would understand that your 'way' with words can be hilariously brilliant. There ain't no one who can put Tee down and not expect to be buried Grin

FrankWippery · 05/10/2012 11:52

check? check? FFS CHEQUE. Even if you are American!

Hullygully · 05/10/2012 11:52

Oh yes funnys

Tee2072 · 05/10/2012 11:54

I was wondering Frank!

::corrupting influence::
