Dear god. Just looking at it is giving me a minor panic attack! The room sizes look reasonably generous in actual measurements (it must go back on the block forever and ever), but you'd never know.

thefifthheffalump · 04/10/2012 12:26

But I guess the owners love it Smile and hey, why shouldn't they, although you'd think they might have taken in some of the advice from all those house selling TV programmes about reducing clutter whn trying to sell!

gazzalw · 04/10/2012 12:28

OMG! That is seriously OTT! YUK!

Secondsop · 04/10/2012 12:29

If I viewed it, I'd actually feel a great deal of affection for it I think. It's obviously much-loved.

Growlithe · 04/10/2012 12:31

I've seen a few threads already on this house on MN. If it's doing the rounds on FB the hits it's getting on Rightmove must be in the thousands! The estate agent must be puzzled if its getting no viewings Grin

MumsGoToReykjavik · 04/10/2012 12:33

I feel as though I should namechange....but....my ex-MILs house is almost exactly like that. You have to shuffle sideways in various rooms to avoid knocking vases/giant plastic flowers/china/pot dogs.

Pancakeflipper · 04/10/2012 12:37

It is spotless, that is some dusting demon living in that house.

Proudnscary · 04/10/2012 12:40

I've reported this - you have no right to post pictures of my house on Mumsnet.

And how I choose to decorate and furnish is my own business Hmm

PrincessSymbian · 04/10/2012 12:43

You better go and find the three other threads then, Proud.
Besides it's not a personal attack, the house does match your user name rather nicely!

EldritchCleavage · 04/10/2012 12:45

lels99 you are right! Undertakers 'viewing room' (or whatever they're called) was my first thought too.
The owners have got more crockery than my late MIL. Not something I ever thought I'd say (outside a Spode showroom at least).

KenLeeeeeee · 04/10/2012 12:45

WOW. That is... WOW. Cor, imagine the dusting...

naturalbaby · 04/10/2012 12:47

gawjus. In my price range, pity we're looking in the Midlands.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 04/10/2012 12:49

Ow, my eyes... my eyes...

Fishwife1949 · 04/10/2012 12:50

My eyes my eyes

Chelvis · 04/10/2012 12:51

Oh good Lord. It's like taste threw up.

QuintessentialShadows · 04/10/2012 12:53

How long will it take them to pack up and move? Grin

OhTheConfusion · 04/10/2012 12:56

If the owner ran a cleaning business I would employ her in a heartbeat... it is spotless!

Chelvis · 04/10/2012 13:01

You mean you wouldn't want all that beautiful shite decor included then Quintessential? Grin

slipperandpjsmum · 04/10/2012 13:28

OMG that is brilliant - thanks for sharing!!

bubalou · 04/10/2012 13:28

Thank you for the inspiration.

I was looking for sum 'shit-clutter-chic' to decorate my house.

Imagine the poor estate agents face as he comes round to value the house.

Grin
eurochick · 04/10/2012 13:32

OMG, the dusting!

Prarieflower · 04/10/2012 13:34

Jesus how did you find it?

Made me feel nauseous and the bedroom looks like something Miss Haversham would sleep in.

MirandaWest · 05/10/2012 00:54

My granny lived on that road when she was little. Not in that house though I don't think

PedanticPanda · 05/10/2012 01:17

I actually scrolled through the pictures with my mouth open in shock the entire time. Surely this is just a well executed, expensive and time consuming practical joke?

purplepenguin86 · 05/10/2012 01:22

Thank you so much - that made me laugh my head off!
