Look at it, it is a beauty and I want it....

www.thanedirect.co.uk/products/housewares/h2omopx5/h2omopx5.php

It is a mop plus hand held.

Has anyone got one?

PS: I am 9 days away to give birth and I am watching way too much TV.

I've had a Karcher steam mop for 9 months and I still haven't used it. It terrifies me.

Sad

I have one and it is fab. Cleans floors really well and I think that because it does not use detergent the floors look brighter. I don't rely like the bit that squirts steam into hard to ge to bits as it just fired the crap elsewhere. I have cleaned my leather couch With the dusting bit and it came up great. Tbh I don't often use the attachments but use the floor mop at least 5 times a week

Ps. I have the h2ox5

shinybaubles · 02/10/2012 10:51

I want one too, but will not mention it until after Christmas in case someone (dh) buys it for me.

nokidshere · 02/10/2012 10:54

YANBU because I want it too!!!

iwishiwasalittlebitfitter · 02/10/2012 10:55

Does it clean windows too... imagine all the money saved! I want to clean the tiles in the bathroom and the bin and the sink, and the hob... (I am saying all that whilst watching Nigella on TV with a mountain of mess around me).

YANBU, as I saw it on the shopping channel at the weekend & I want one as well. I'm definitely not pregnant, so can't even use that as an excuse!!!! Grin

pud1 · 02/10/2012 11:00

It does clean windows but I still just do it with a cloth. It's great for shower screens

PostBellumBugsy · 02/10/2012 11:03

What about ovens pud? I was nearly salivating when I saw it could do them.

Mrsjay · 02/10/2012 11:05

Mrsjay · 02/10/2012 11:05

iwishiwasalittlebitfitter · 02/10/2012 11:06

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 02/10/2012 11:13

I've got one, its amazing! I've done my oven, windows, doors, shower screen, Lino and carpets. It's not quite as easy to do the oven as it looks on the ad but still brilliant.
Get one!

iwishiwasalittlebitfitter · 02/10/2012 11:15

I found this one: www.dealtabloid.com/gumtree/4873/

I saw the vax upright one in B n M yesterday i was tempted to buy it my aunt has 1 that has different bits to it she can't work it apart from mopping the floor she hates it.

MsVestibule · 02/10/2012 11:24

pud1 don't put up a link for an offer that's bloody well expired! You really got my hopes up there! My shower screens are shocking and I really want something that makes them easy peasy to clean. My tiles too.

Unfortunately I'm always telling DH we have to economise, so it will have to wait Sad.

But shiny, surely your DH wouldn't buy you a household appliance for Christmas Shock?

pud1 · 02/10/2012 11:26

Sorry. I will keep my eye out for it again

ddubsgirl · 02/10/2012 11:54

i have a vax one but i want the one off the tv ad as you can use it as a hand held,my steamer doesnt fit behind the loo so using a handheld i could steam behind it.

MrsReiver · 02/10/2012 12:20

I have one! MIL bought it for my Christmas because I kept borrowing her Grin

It is AMAZING! We had a persistent grubby mark just inside the front door we couldn't shift and once I started using the steam mop once a week it disappeared! One use doesn't make much visible difference, but repeated use really lifts stubborn stains and marks. I usually have to hoover after using the mop, as it brings all the cat hair to the surface, it's quite embarrassing to see actually. I don't have all the fancy schmancy bits for doing windows, I have the little jet nozzle (which is good for getting dust and fluff from down the back of radiators) and the wee brushes which I've used for the grout around tiles.

I sound like an advert so I'm going to stop now, but I loooooooove my mope, I wouldn't be without it now.
