Perhaps Your 2 year old is just a cupcake looking for her stud muffin (so she can kick her legs about all night- WTF)?

Mine sure as hell isn't.

t-shirt at Zulily

Just kill me now. Even running the risk of an AIBU flaming isn't as bad as this fucking abomination.

MrDobalina · 24/09/2012 14:06

yipee! yes, well done Zulily Smile

Blu · 24/09/2012 14:11

Stud Muffin means, in American and Canadian, a bloke who is a bit off hot stuff, and well up for it.

Of course it is a stupid, mindless and idiotic thing for anyone to think of putting on a baby's clothes.

Well done, Zuilly!

Shame about the people who think this sort of thing is so-o-o-o-o witty.

TheBigJessie · 24/09/2012 14:23

Poor Zulily.

Imagine coming in to work to deal with this thread on a Monday morning.

VoterColonelSebastianDoyle · 24/09/2012 14:29

Wow, some people need to lighten up on here Hmm

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 24/09/2012 14:34

Voter, and others who've said this isn't a big deal, there are worse things in the world etc: things like this may be 'smaller' than, I don't know, nuclear war, or massacres, but that doesn't mean they don't matter.

Sexism and early sexualisation are both insidious and are allowed to keep growing by people saying 'It's only a tiny thing' or 'Just don't buy it if you don't like it.'

Doctrine, you took the words out of my mouth re 'princesses and fireman [sic]'! Hmm

VoterColonelSebastianDoyle · 24/09/2012 15:01

I just think its ridiculous to have a company take something off their range just because a handful of people think its inappropriate Its not even that bad! Hmm

MrDobalina · 24/09/2012 15:10

poor Zulily my ass...that'll learn 'em to engage their integrity at all times.....we are watching yooooooouuuu! Grin

MrDobalina · 24/09/2012 15:13

i think its entirely appropriate that the consumers should wield as much power as possible voter

i don't want my children exposed to that shite. And i will do all that i can to challenge it

TheBigJessie · 24/09/2012 15:30

MrDobalina okay, naughty Zulily and poor Zulily employee then. Grin

voter Actually, has anyone actually explicitly demanded it be removed from sale? I didn't, and my views are probably some of the more extreme so far!

But I can see that it might very well make better financial sense to remove it, than risk the outrage spreading. MNHQ probably told Zulily that we never shut up and would start demanding that MN cancel the advertising contract if the shirt remained visible.

Thumbwitch · 24/09/2012 15:33

Oh it so is that bad. But obviously not to some people.

Glad Zulily have seen the writing on the wall.

lastSplash · 24/09/2012 15:42

pornstar in training kids / baby shirt

Thumbwitch · 24/09/2012 15:54

Urgh. Just disgusting. :(

KitCat26 · 24/09/2012 16:12

Jesus that is horrendous Lastsplash. Sad

TittyWhistles · 24/09/2012 16:25

Wtf?!

TheBigJessie · 24/09/2012 16:36

I'm too scared to click I'm conscientiously objecting by refusing to click!

Some people are just so weird. We have the people who get upset by the idea of their adult children having sex, such as the stereotype of the over-protective father and his embarrassed adult daughter.

Then there are people who are scarily enthusiastic and obsessed with their children's future sexual relationships.

Rowanhart · 24/09/2012 17:55

FamiliesShareGerms · 24/09/2012 20:28

Thanks for listening, Zulily

catwoo · 25/09/2012 09:05

'Then there are people who are scarily enthusiastic and obsessed with their children's future sexual relationships'

firstly I would like to say I think they are tasteless trashy and yuk, but I do 'get' that they are a joke! eg for an immature dad to buy for his baby son to give his friends a bit of a laugh.

SaffronCake · 25/09/2012 10:58

Pornstar in training

In training?

TRAINING?

Are social services aware?

OP posts:
RillaBlythe · 25/09/2012 11:00

This is so depressing.

Extrospektiv · 25/09/2012 11:45

No overzealous SC, Social Services aren't aware because it doesn't reflect reality anymore than a child with Superman clothing on is really a superhero who can scale skyscrapers.

TroublesomeEx · 25/09/2012 11:47

I'm not even going to try to explain the difference between Superman and pornstars.

MrDobalina · 25/09/2012 11:51

oh go on folkgirl Grin

DisorderlyNights · 25/09/2012 12:03
