to think CBeebies Andy was wearing a slightly inappropriate silver spacesuit reading the birthdays this afternoon?

And yet strangely beguiling also. Hypnotic almost....

Certainly I had trouble averting my eyes.....

It was a little snug! Where to look! He's a tall guy tho isn't he. I guess bbc wardrobe struggles getting him the perfect fit! Grin

Arithmeticulous · 12/09/2012 16:53

^^ The Birthdays, you say?

Sirzy · 12/09/2012 17:15

< follows artitmeticulous to iplayer >

booomy · 12/09/2012 17:16

I think you're being unreasonable for clearing letting CBBC babysit your children whilst being on mumsnet!

Chickalini · 12/09/2012 17:18

Booomy - are you for real?

I had to being them in from running wild in the streets as it is raining. Isn't that what Cbeebies is for?

booomy · 12/09/2012 17:21

If I let my DS watch cbeebies everytime it rained, he's be a zombie.

Maybe you should turn the tv off, turn mumsnet off and do something with them!

(DS is napping at the mo, hence a bit of time for me, but I think its bizaare your on your computer whilst cbeebies is on. Maybe if you were really really busy and needed dc's occupied but to be sat on mumsnet??? Lazy!

Rindercella · 12/09/2012 17:23

Oh Boomy, do feck off with your judgements, there's a dear Smile

MrsHelsBels74 · 12/09/2012 17:23

Maybe you need to take your judgey pants off booomy & let those of us who want to perv over Andy do so in peace.

Sadly, son is with grandma so I have no excuse to put Cbeebies on!

PunkChick · 12/09/2012 17:23

Well, aren't you a delight... >.

missymoomoomee · 12/09/2012 17:24

WOW booomy you are everything I aspire to be as a parent, thank you for showing me, and no doubt everyone else on here the error of our ways, maybe one day our parenting skills will be up to your standard.

NoWayNoHow · 12/09/2012 17:24

Booomy - perhaps you would be better suited to a parenting site with a better calibre of parent and a lower standard of manners?

Hmm
TyrannoWearsGoldKnickers · 12/09/2012 17:25

Ah boomy you sound lovely. Shouldn't you be spending your 'me time' removing that broom from your backside and sweeping with it though? Lazy!

Vagaceratops · 12/09/2012 17:25

Napping at 5pm.
Hmm

NoWayNoHow · 12/09/2012 17:25

Oh, and OP I haven't seen Andy's space suit, but clearly I'm off to find it on iPlayer whilst my poor zombified DS watches CITV and whiles away the hours wishing for a better mummy

PunkChick · 12/09/2012 17:26

He's probably watching Tree Fu Tom, napping, pfffft! ;)

Chickalini · 12/09/2012 17:27

Don't think my parenting is any of your beeswax - but since my kids are asleep too and Im having a few minutes to myself, perhaps you might like to tke your "lazy" comment back?

First time posting anything on here -didn't realise there were any preachy preachy types waiting to leap on something that was meant as a bit of fun, something I was dying to tell someone, but since all my mates work and wouldn't have appreciated the observation thought I might come on here.

Suggest you go wake your kids up and give yourself something constructive to do instead of trolling needlessly on chatgroups.

Confused I thought that's what Cbeebies was for - entertaining the DC while I MNed?

Andy has a wierd pair of nostrils. Therefore = not sexy.

checks iPlayer anyway

CakeExpectations · 12/09/2012 17:29

I'm quite Sad that mine are far to old for CBeebies. I used to love Andy.

And I can spell.

EnjoyGOLDResponsibly · 12/09/2012 17:30

Booomy I'm betting your DC napping at gone 5 is probably too young to be watching CBeebies.

I will however bet the entire of Mumsnet that you will be reaching for the RC before the year is out.

YANBU in one respect, NickJr has better programmes IMO.

DinosaursOnASpaceship · 12/09/2012 17:30

cbeebies is on all day in my house

Chickalini · 12/09/2012 17:30

Folks - cross posted your nice posts with my cross one Grin

Off back to perv and prod my kids into some sort of state of consciousnes. Time to feed them some fizzy pop and donuts

missymoomoomee · 12/09/2012 17:31

I can't find it I wanna see Andy in his space suit Sad

elfycat · 12/09/2012 17:32

Is it better that my DDs are watching Ice Age than CBeebies? Can we start a class war over viewing material?

I'll have to wait until after the film before going to see the spacesuit (which I will only be doing as I'm a sci-fi fan you understand). That is if I can get IPlayer up, DH left for work having blocked it somehow. sigh.
