And yet strangely beguiling also. Hypnotic almost....

Certainly I had trouble averting my eyes.....

elfycat · 12/09/2012 18:12

Do you think he's going to read the bedtime story tonight? And will he have changed? Will the BBC receive any complaints about his clothing?

Have any of you looked into studies of the effects of that kind of tv on children?

In france it's illegal to call kids tv 'educational'. No matter the crap like 'its counting/colours/learning'. It's so over stimulating it can impair creativity.

BrainSurgeon · 12/09/2012 18:17

Poor Andy Grin I did see it him in the spacesuit and had to fight hard to wipe the grin off my face.... he didn't look very comfortable I thought

Psammead · 12/09/2012 18:18
Shock
booomy · 12/09/2012 18:19

And yes, I did come here to be judgy-pants. Because I HATE how everyone on mumsnet think its acceptable to watch it all the time. If people start to realise not everyone does it, then maybe you'll start to realise it's not okay!

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 12/09/2012 18:20

Link please!!!!!

Rindercella · 12/09/2012 18:21

Have you looked into any studies looking into the twatishness of some posters on the internet boomy?

You know, you'd be far better off worrying about your own child and how you parent him/her than you are judging other parents.

Your child is obviously still asleep at 6.20pm (seeing as you're still on here judging other people). Hmm...have a nice night tonight won't you Wink

NoWayNoHow · 12/09/2012 18:22

Booomy, I don't recall ANYONE saying they let their children watch TV "all the time". So take you judgey pants and bugger off.

NotaDisneyMum · 12/09/2012 18:23

booomy - have you seen the studies the that show what parenting can do to a mums brain?

dranksinatra · 12/09/2012 18:24

Go boomy!
They don't like it uppem'
Perving over children's presenters..shocking

Psammead · 12/09/2012 18:24

All the time? Who said anything about all the time?

Booomy, TV is considered beneficial for bi-lingual children like my DD. I thereforedo not think the downsides are as dramatic as made out. Plenty of children get their creativity quota at home and/or in kindergarten.

dranksinatra · 12/09/2012 18:25

Isn't telling someone to f off, a personal attack?
Report away, booomy

TyrannoWearsGoldKnickers · 12/09/2012 18:25

IT'S RAINING!!! Smile

"I HATE how everyone on mumsnet think its acceptable to watch it all the time."

Where, in fucks name, does anyone say they watch it all the time?

We now have cbeebies on. It's a special occasion. I want to see Andy's knob. So. There.

TyrannoWearsGoldKnickers · 12/09/2012 18:27

No idea what Macca Pacca just cleaned with his sponge but it looked like a butt plug with handles.

(See what you miss out on while you're busy polishing your halo, boomy?)

bigsnugglebunny · 12/09/2012 18:29

I remember watching television at shock school! Look and Read was a particular favourite Grin

Lambzig · 12/09/2012 18:30

DD already fed nutritious balanced meal at 5pm by DH and I had just got in, but making custard so she can have bananas and custard as a treat as she has been very good about something today.

Obviously, I am just a terrible parent (rewarding with treat, TV and poisoning her with sugar!!!!!)

OnlyWantsOne · 12/09/2012 18:32

Is there not a link to this yet?!

I bloody love Andy. I once convinced a whole bunch of you lot that I was his wife....

elfycat · 12/09/2012 18:32

Tyranno - it was probably just Makka Pakka's Uff Uff
