to feel that Eamonn Holmes is a creepy, disrespectful arse?

On the This Morning programme he appears insincere and judgy of others.

Ruth seems embarrassed of him most of the time.

Ruth could do better, surely to God?

Sole did you just see that bit about pet bereavement? It was just awful. he wouldn't let Ben Fogle speak and he showed no empathy whatsoever. He is a big dough faced arse. Angry

I can never get that image out of my head - I think I originally saw slug-man on The Simpsons (Futurama?) and just thought, "Oh my God, that's Eamon."

I was just going to bring up the rape victim he blamed for not getting a taxi home but I see SuperBOF got there first. The man makes misogynistic, judgemental and smug comments all the time. Ugh!

Squoosh, I suspect it's partly contrived and that Ruth's presenting style is a foil to his, but none of it alters the fact that it's still deeply unpleasant, and you're right - I wouldn't want to see what he's like off screen.
