to feel that Eamonn Holmes is a creepy, disrespectful arse?

On the This Morning programme he appears insincere and judgy of others.

Ruth seems embarrassed of him most of the time.

Ruth could do better, surely to God?

There's always Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones on ITV1. Shock LK is another one who seems to survive any reshuffles and sackings. Sad

I miss the hot dude on Daybreak. They sacked him and replaced him with Aled Fecking Jones. The man looks like Mr. Ben.

I have read many threads on different websites about this man and the majority of the replies are along the same lines , hardly anyone likes him as a person or a presenter and I'm sure the TM ratings must be down on the days he presents so WHY does he still have the job ? doesn't make sense . I feel sorry for Ruth she often looks embarrased at the awful rubbish he comes out with !!

I remember the interview he did with the first gay men to adopt a baby, he didn't hide the fact he thought it was disgusting, and was spouting homophobic nonsense to them. Just awful. It was a while ago though so would have been accepted on tv then, he would be pulled apart now if he tried the same thing. He still must have those views though.

He comes across really badly - creepy. God knows why they still employ him.

I hate him and Ruth is no better. Plus, she was stupid enough to married the arse.

On the other hand, I love Ben Fogle. I cut his hair once... although I didn't know who he was, it was before he was really famous. He did say he was a television presenter though. I remember being rather disinterested at the time. Blush

I agree that he is frequently very offensive on This Morning. But loads of viewers like him because they share his views: like taht time he blamed a rape victim under the guise of fatherly advice.

But on Sky Sunrise he is very good at holding politicians and other people in authority to account while also handling light interviews so I'll let him off and draw a veil over his nauseating flirting with young female presenters and guests.

I think the mistake people make is that they think he won't be on the ball because of This Morning. And the Anthea Turner thing.

They don't realise his background is news. A piece of research cuddly Eamonn would never miss.

I felt a bit sick when I typed 'cuddly' and 'Eamonn' in the same sentence.

If you are reading this I have obviously been fosrespectful about your DH. I am not in any way perfect and I am sure Eamonn has better personality traits than I. I just feel he is not suited to TM and you would be better off with another co-presenter.

I don't like him, but I find him hillarious on the fashion sections. He looks like my husband* does when we go shopping - utterly baffled and completely indignant at the prices.

*in terms of facial expressions, my husband is athletic and gorgeous (smug emoticon)
