WIBU - involves dog shit, a 4x4, and a disabled parking bay...

Inspired by the other thread ...

Bank holiday Monday so we go to a localish country park for a nice walk.

All fine and lovely, but upon returning to car park, there is a big dog having a big shite right on the corner of the disabled parking bay where the yellow lines are . If you were getting a wheelchair out, you would go straight through it if you didn't notice it.

Dog belongs to miserable looking snooty woman driving a mahoosive land rover thingy, who just watched the dog do its business and then called it to follow her off down path leaving shite, not a trace of shame.

I am getting increasingly sick of ignorant people and especially ignorant people in big 4x4s etc who think they can do what the hell they want.

So waited till she was out of sight, got a carrier bag and deposited the shite onto the lovely shiny bonnet for her.

Totally inspired by the cream thread ... We are making a stand!

Was the bonnet poo still bagged when it arrived on the bonnet?

I kinda hope it wasnt Wink but either way, glad you did it.

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/08/2012 16:44

slarty there is no CCTV, but that is besides the point. I was just returning her property anyway. I would not feel guilty i assure you.

I think its more out of order not picking it up personally.

Some one could have got it all over their wheelchair and not had anything to clean it up with.

Maybe not noticed and put it back in boot of car getting car covered in shit tto.

Etc, etc, etc.

manicinsomniac · 27/08/2012 16:44

YANBU but I think you should have left it in the bag. That wouldn have been 'tidying up after her' whereas I think tipping it out could be criminal vandalism (maybe not?)

No worse than what she did but two wrongs and all that ...

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/08/2012 16:47

Raisin i did not challenge it at the time because I was with my 4 year old daughter and 8 month old son, my parents also. The woman had head phones in. I didnt fancy a slanging match in the carpark in front of them.

She had no shame, she knew we had seen and made no attempt to pick it up, or look abashed and say "im out of dog bags".

She blatently didnt care.

However, i suspect she may of cared about her lovely shiny bonnet.

Ah ha ha ha good on you!!

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/08/2012 16:49

meh, vandilsim.

she left it on purpose, would it be vandilsim if it went all over a wheel chair?

same kinda thing really, if you think about it.

Shock

your parents didn't STOP you chucking dog shit on a car?

YABU, and not just for the use of ''may of''

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/08/2012 16:51

two wrongs dont make a right, i know that, but it felt good Smile

panicnotanymore · 27/08/2012 16:53

I'm glad the car thing was tongue in cheek. Plenty of 4x4 drivers are ordinary pleasant people who have had to save up for years to buy a tank because they live on a hill and have been snowed in for weeks at a time in recent years. I never wanted one, but got sick of hiking miles through the snow to buy food as the council don't clear anything smaller than A roads.

You should have challenged her, as although she probably would have left it this time, it would have rattled her and she would be less likely to leave it in future.

Pickles77 · 27/08/2012 16:53

For all you people moaning that two wrongs don't make a right.
What would you be saying when your child falls over into a dog turd and ends up with a serious health complaint. Such as blindness.

what then?

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/08/2012 16:54

Sorry may have

No, my dad handed me the bag, and my mam said "i don't quite believe you just did that" with a face like this ---> Grin

Another one here, OP saying YANBU, not at all!

Evasmum12 · 27/08/2012 16:57

A few days ago I pulled up outside my house and a man was stood with his dog having a massive poo halfway up my driveway! Not on the pavement or the bottom of the drive but practically in my garden! I was Shock.

So YANBU. I hate hate hate dogshit, anywhere.

WMittens · 27/08/2012 16:57

Should have wiped some under the door handles too

NicholasTeakozy · 27/08/2012 16:58

YABU to empty it onto the bonnet. You should've emptied it onto the windscreen. I'd love to have seen the reaction to that

RabbitsMakeBrownEggs · 27/08/2012 16:59

It's not like you smeared it on her windscreen. You could make little toothpick flags to pop in the top of the returned poop with a flag saying "This is yours!" or "Pick up shit!" to get the point even more firmly across.

It would look awfully cheerful and shitty at the same time. Passive aggressive poop!

mumofthemonsters808 · 27/08/2012 16:59

Good for you, maybe this will teach the inconsiderate sod a lesson.

BigHairyFlowers · 27/08/2012 17:00

For some reason, I find this more acceptable than the cream.

I can imagine her going back to the car and wondering what the hell the local birds had been eating.

WMittens and NicholasTeakozy can you just imagine Grin

DozyDuck · 27/08/2012 17:03

I'd just like to comment on the 'two wrongs don't make a right' thing. Is it right to lock someone in a room for 12 years and only let them see their family in hourly slots? Yes. But that's what happens when people are in prison, which we as a country agree is ok.

So returning her property to her own car so it doesnt end up on someone's wheels and then hands!.... I think it's ok.

DozyDuck · 27/08/2012 17:04

Oops I meant no its not ok not yes. I'm tired

CondoleezzaRiceKrispies · 27/08/2012 17:04

Bravo OP!

Someone near me draws round pavement dog turds with chalk and writes furious messages beside them.
