WIBU - involves dog shit, a 4x4, and a disabled parking bay...

Inspired by the other thread ...

Bank holiday Monday so we go to a localish country park for a nice walk.

All fine and lovely, but upon returning to car park, there is a big dog having a big shite right on the corner of the disabled parking bay where the yellow lines are . If you were getting a wheelchair out, you would go straight through it if you didn't notice it.

Dog belongs to miserable looking snooty woman driving a mahoosive land rover thingy, who just watched the dog do its business and then called it to follow her off down path leaving shite, not a trace of shame.

I am getting increasingly sick of ignorant people and especially ignorant people in big 4x4s etc who think they can do what the hell they want.

So waited till she was out of sight, got a carrier bag and deposited the shite onto the lovely shiny bonnet for her.

Totally inspired by the cream thread ... We are making a stand!

gollered not followed.

SoupDragon · 27/08/2012 18:08

As a dog owner, coming back to find that someone had put my unbagged dog's shit on my car would make me feel bloody guilty at having left it.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 27/08/2012 18:08

Fox poo does not look like dog poo. If it looks like dog poo it probably is...

Well doNE OP

lovemyalfa · 27/08/2012 18:08

YANBU I would have left her an explanatory note as well as she is probably very stupid as well as arrogant

HermioneE · 27/08/2012 18:09

diddl not that I think giving her the bag would be the wrong thing to do, but I reckon the OP's approach is a lot more likely to make this woman think twice next time!

SoupDragon · 27/08/2012 18:09

Why should they have given her a bag? Given she walked off with earphones in. Were they meant to run after her coughing politely and saying "Excuse me... excuse me..."

olympicsrock · 27/08/2012 18:09

Lordy Gordy. I have started a revolution. Good on you OP for refusing to take rudeness lying down. I'm not sure I would have gone as far as dog poo though! I'm glad you were more careful than me to mak sure you hadn't been seen. My DH is very cross about creamgate.

SauvignonBlanche · 27/08/2012 18:11

She obviously had no shame so may have needed shocking into realising the error of her ways.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 27/08/2012 18:11

Yadnbu!!! Grin

Youcanringmybell · 27/08/2012 18:11

I missed creamgate...what happened? Link? Grin

Empusa · 27/08/2012 18:11

Oh how I wish someone had been there to do that in the supermarket the other day, when some helpful person let their dog shit in a parking bay, right where the passenger door had to open. Of course it was a lovely sunny day, so I was wearing sandals.. never thought to check a car park for dog shit! Angry

There is no excuse for not picking it up.

Youcanringmybell · 27/08/2012 18:12

Emupusa Shock

God that is awful for you. I am certain I would have cried.

pinkyp · 27/08/2012 18:13

You have made me so happy op Grin really cheered me up

meetupmisery · 27/08/2012 18:13

This gets up my nose regularly especially since having baby no2. There are same people pinching these spaces too. I'd love to leave them a 'you've been noticed', sweaty gym knickers?

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/08/2012 18:14

I did not wipe shit all over her car. I would not of had the stomach for that... That would have put me right off me dinner. You can see from the OP that I considerately deposited it onto the bonnet for her.

"Given she walked off with earphones in. Were they meant to run after her coughing politely and saying "Excuse me... excuse me...""

Could have given her the bag whilst she was watching her dog.

Yes, I know that it´s not OPs responsibility, but anything other than what OP did.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 27/08/2012 18:17

How can anyone possibly think the OP was in the wrong and she ought to have offered the woman her help? The lazy witch deserved it. Sometimes things are just beyond debate and this is one of them.

CurlyKiwiControl · 27/08/2012 18:19

olympicsrock Thanks your dh is being very unreasonable lol

Maybe youcanringmybell was onto something trying to start a mn revolution after all Wink

"Sometimes things are just beyond debate and this is one of them."

IYO.

I think that the OP is just as disgusting as the "lazy witch".

I don´t think anyone deserves to have dog poo put on their car.

Empusa · 27/08/2012 18:21

"Could have given her the bag whilst she was watching her dog."

Why would you give someone a bag while their dog was in the process of shitting? Surely you'd (logically if wrongly) assume that once the dog was done the owner would pick it up?

IceCubes · 27/08/2012 18:21

Curly, you are a hero! Loving the MN revolution! Bravo!

lljkk · 27/08/2012 18:22

For the little flag logo:
"Bag & Bin!"
"This mess belongs to _"
"I think you forgot something."

rainbowinthesky · 27/08/2012 18:23

A parent let her dog poo right outside the school once, had a quick glance, pulled her dog away and carried on walking. I went up to her and gave her a bag. She was very embarrassed. So she should have been.

SauvignonBlanche · 27/08/2012 18:23

I stood in some last week, I'd just come out of a restaurant, DD shouted "Mum, poo" but just as I stood in it. DD said it was that white dog over there, who had their scary looking owner with them.
It was right in the middle of the pavement. Angry
I managed to clean it off on some grass, a wheelchair user would have a much more difficult time, and is self-propelling may have ended up covered in it.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 27/08/2012 18:23

But why not? They let their dogs crap all over the place, knowing that it may end up on the hands of the disabled, on the wheels of a buggy, in the boots of cars, being tramped through houses, being rubbed into children's eyes..... Why do they not deserve a bit of shit on their car? In fact, if they so thoughtlessly leave it everywhere, then they can't think that shit is actually that disgusting.
