WIBu retaliating re the rude woman in the carpark

Yesterday morning I went to the supermarket. I was in a hurry as I had to finish a pavlova to take to a friends party. The supermarket was packed and traffic was standing waiting for spaces (one in one out). I was politely queueing when a driver got into her car just ahead of me obviously about to vacate a space. I waited behind the space indicating left that I was waiting . I gave her enough room and time to manoevre out. As she was doing this I saw an old woman in a bettered car behind me trying to squeeze down the inside to pass me and making it difficult for the other driver. I hooted as she almost scraped my car. To my disbelief she then swung into the space I had patiently waited for. I wound down my window to state the obvious that she was taking my space. She replied "so what" . I said you can't do that, we are all waiting". She relied I can do what I like. Two other drivers who had witnessed this also got out of cars to back me up. I was livid. In the end the parking warden came to sort it out. He pointed out another space ahead now empty and asked me to park in it. I did . I returned to speak to the other woman (aged about 80, dark glasses and very snotty). She continued to be rude when I repeated that her behaviour was unacceptable, and rude. After finishing my shopping 10 minutes later I was still very shaken up and angry. I tool a carton of cream from my bag and dribbled the word RUDE on her windscreen before driving off.

This happened to me at our local supermarket. A group of university students pulled into my space. I shouted at them but my vocabulary was restricted due to the presence of DS. They laughed at me but must have felt bad afterwards because when I came out to my car later there was a 6-pack of beer on the bonnet (with only one can missing) and a note saying sorry.

Twilbach... I hope you don't think me rude but I remember your thread and wonders how things were?!

ShiftyFades · 30/08/2012 20:47

Just wondering whether squirting boob milk over screen would have same effect or would I have to churn it first.

gimmecakeandcandy · 30/08/2012 23:26

ShiftyFades · 31/08/2012 07:29

On my way too Grin

TwllBach · 31/08/2012 14:00

Scones you say....

Do you mean my going-on-holiday-DP-is-being-a-twat thread gimme? Thigns are fine, I did have a good old chat with him about what I termed "unacceptable behaviour" because I am a sanctimonious so and so and he apologised. He also acknowledged that sometimes it shocks him when I have an opinion that is different to his, because I didn't for so long. We have both agreed to work on it, because we love each other.

I'm starting my new job on Monday and am woefully unprepared so I suppose we will see how it goes from there, as hopefully he will keep being lovely, like the DP I fell in love with, but I'm not blinded by that anymore and can see some things that may not be quite red lights, but are definitely amber ones.

So, in essence, nothing has changed! Grin or it has, in that he is more aware and so am I, of what things I find acceptable.

Sorry for the hijack Blush

gimmecakeandcandy · 31/08/2012 14:27

TwllBach - I hope it works out for you x
You probably remember me as 50shades from your thread if you do reneged people! It's good you have stood up and said how it will be to him and hopefully it will continue to make him grow and be the man he should be

Good luck with your job - keep updating your thread as people really do want to know how OP's who write threads are x

BuntCadger · 31/08/2012 14:51

ShiftyFades · 31/08/2012 21:13
