WIBu retaliating re the rude woman in the carpark

Yesterday morning I went to the supermarket. I was in a hurry as I had to finish a pavlova to take to a friends party. The supermarket was packed and traffic was standing waiting for spaces (one in one out). I was politely queueing when a driver got into her car just ahead of me obviously about to vacate a space. I waited behind the space indicating left that I was waiting . I gave her enough room and time to manoevre out. As she was doing this I saw an old woman in a bettered car behind me trying to squeeze down the inside to pass me and making it difficult for the other driver. I hooted as she almost scraped my car. To my disbelief she then swung into the space I had patiently waited for. I wound down my window to state the obvious that she was taking my space. She replied "so what" . I said you can't do that, we are all waiting". She relied I can do what I like. Two other drivers who had witnessed this also got out of cars to back me up. I was livid. In the end the parking warden came to sort it out. He pointed out another space ahead now empty and asked me to park in it. I did . I returned to speak to the other woman (aged about 80, dark glasses and very snotty). She continued to be rude when I repeated that her behaviour was unacceptable, and rude. After finishing my shopping 10 minutes later I was still very shaken up and angry. I tool a carton of cream from my bag and dribbled the word RUDE on her windscreen before driving off.

Have just been on the phone to my mother and she has been telling me that some cunt smeared cream over her windscreen whilst she was doing her weekly shop, she doesn't know what the world is coming to, no respect for the elderly these days, yada,yada...

BuntCadger · 29/08/2012 17:34

Grin axure

floranora · 29/08/2012 19:20

No i am not a troll. I really do it if people have parked like idiots.

I couldnt care less about the reasons they may have parked like a knob. I dont care how much it cost them to repair it, I dont care how angry it makes you lot. I dont care what names you call me!

I am not a troll, I was not causing trouble. i was simply stating what i do. you dont have to agree with me, but if anything you are breaking the 'mumsnet guidelines' by swearing etc.

I will continue to do so to idiots that cannot park. I will now name change and see you lot soon!

sugarice · 29/08/2012 19:33

I take it olympic hasn't been visited by the Police for creaming the car.Olympic have you been back to Waitrose yet? Grin

tryingtonotfeckup · 29/08/2012 19:40

People may be breaking mumsnet guidelines but you are breaking the law, and you still don't get it.

Frontpaw · 29/08/2012 19:46

You really should have used ketchup or mustard or both - as I once saw on our street on a lovely sports car. The owner had been a naughty boy and got caught by his girlfriend.

Aww bless her, the image of flora in her little boyracer GTI makes me snurk. I bet she's got faux leather carseat covers as well... No! I bet she's got racing seats!

Are you 17 flora?

I acnnot be arsed with getting irritated by you anymore. I'm going to report my own thread, and report you for continuously advocating criminal damage.

atacareercrossroads · 29/08/2012 20:47

Juat so you know Flora if I ever caught anyone keying my car they would be drinking their next meal through a straw so maybe think on eh?

olympicsrock · 29/08/2012 20:49

OP update - I have not had a visit or letter from either Waitrose or The police but have not dared to go back just in case Grin.

Don't worry I doubt our paths will cross somehow :)

Cynner · 29/08/2012 21:56

Probably the best way to avoid this next time is to park in spaces a distance away. This might help avoid angry feelings and gets in needed exercise.

shhhhhhhh aka flora - I think you are talking utter shite and I bet that you've never keyed anyone's car ever. I also bet you can't park well yourself.

wellwisher · 29/08/2012 23:53

Can't believe how angry people are getting about the thought of someone keying a stranger's car. It's not nice and I wouldn't do it myself, but really? Am I missing something? The level of personal attack is a bit shocking. We're talking about a scratch on a bit of metal, not beating up your grandma.

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh · 30/08/2012 00:00

ok, think that you like! I am a fab driver and would never do that to a car, unless I could park perfectly!

you can "bet" all you like that I am a troll, that i have never keyed a car, "faux leather carseat covers as well... No! I bet she's got racing seats! (??)"

We all do things that others don't approve of. I was not seeking your approval or opinions. This is just what I do, and what I will continue to do.

I have had hours of entertainment over this thread, you lot get yourselves so wound up! It has been therapeutic, almost.

wellwisher it is a tad extreme isn't it. might have seen the error of my ways had the attack not been quite so personal, now I just hope for certain MNetters next time.
