WIBu retaliating re the rude woman in the carpark

Yesterday morning I went to the supermarket. I was in a hurry as I had to finish a pavlova to take to a friends party. The supermarket was packed and traffic was standing waiting for spaces (one in one out). I was politely queueing when a driver got into her car just ahead of me obviously about to vacate a space. I waited behind the space indicating left that I was waiting . I gave her enough room and time to manoevre out. As she was doing this I saw an old woman in a bettered car behind me trying to squeeze down the inside to pass me and making it difficult for the other driver. I hooted as she almost scraped my car. To my disbelief she then swung into the space I had patiently waited for. I wound down my window to state the obvious that she was taking my space. She replied "so what" . I said you can't do that, we are all waiting". She relied I can do what I like. Two other drivers who had witnessed this also got out of cars to back me up. I was livid. In the end the parking warden came to sort it out. He pointed out another space ahead now empty and asked me to park in it. I did . I returned to speak to the other woman (aged about 80, dark glasses and very snotty). She continued to be rude when I repeated that her behaviour was unacceptable, and rude. After finishing my shopping 10 minutes later I was still very shaken up and angry. I tool a carton of cream from my bag and dribbled the word RUDE on her windscreen before driving off.

You really do shhhh Sad
It's very sad that you are like this Sad

gimmecakeandcandy · 30/08/2012 19:31

There's really no point in talking to flora or shh shit or whatever her name is, we can all tell from her posts she us unstable and that she feeds off the attention she finds here. For someone so unbothered she sure posts a lot about how unbothered she is Hmm

You have to pity such a little, spiteful person with obvious mental health issues. I think it's best we ignore her ramblings.

Cynner · 30/08/2012 19:31

Flora, this is just an observation, but it appears that you have a great need for attention, positive or negative. The negative stuff can't feel that good to you, maybe if you had counciling in RL, you would get your needs met in a more constructive way.

CockyPants · 30/08/2012 19:34

Ok folks, it's obvious shhhhh has inflated ego. Let's not feed it eh?
I don't think the world is going to stop turning just because OP wrote rude using waitrose cream on chunts windscreen.
I think the real AIBU issue is whether using WAITROSE cream is a Bad Thing? Aldi or Asda, shurly is more appropriate?!
This being MUMSNET, OP, I am SHOCKED and APPALLED Grin

gimmecakeandcandy · 30/08/2012 19:37

Oooo I could just eat a nice warm scone with cream and jam!

CockyPants · 30/08/2012 19:39

Would that be a WAITROSE scone and jam?
Clotted cream has to feature.

ShiftyFades · 30/08/2012 19:40

Oh I adore clotted cream, it's just beautiful. OP would be unreasonable if it had been clotted, thankfully it was extra thick double (although I love that too, it's 2nd only to clotted) Wink

CockyPants · 30/08/2012 19:41

Yum yum. Strawberry jam?

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh · 30/08/2012 19:41

oh god, you lot are nutty. pmsl at shiftyfades with all the Sad faces!

ShiftyFades · 30/08/2012 19:42

Oh yes please, strawberry jam Grin

Happiestinwellybobs · 30/08/2012 19:46

So I pulled onto the car park today and indicated to go into a P&C space. The women in the space opposite was reversing out so I waved to let her out. She promptly reversed straight into the space I was turning into!! I growled at her and moved to find another space. BUT she then moved and went elsewhere. So I think she realised I was a MN-er (even if I do drive a 4x4) Blush and was afraid of a cream-screen!!

Well done OP!!

Tiredmumno1 · 30/08/2012 19:47

I'd prefer to be nutty than a stupid attention seeking criminal

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh · 30/08/2012 19:49

im sure you would

gimmecakeandcandy · 30/08/2012 19:49

Shiftyfades - I had some amazing strawberry jam that had black pepper in it, it was delish!
Oooooo - clotted cream. Let's have a cuppa too!

ShiftyFades · 30/08/2012 19:51

Oh wow!! Did you make it yourself?

gimmecakeandcandy · 30/08/2012 19:51

Tiredmummy - don't waste your breath on attention seeking idiots, come join me and shades for jam, cream and scones!

Tiredmumno1 · 30/08/2012 19:52

Blimey it's like having a conversation with a child.

Anyone got a spare scone and cuppa for me? Grin

Tiredmumno1 · 30/08/2012 19:52

gimmecakeandcandy · 30/08/2012 19:53

Nah, got it from centreparcs! It's amazing!

Have you ever tried cheese sandwiches with jam? Just gorgeous!

CleoSmackYa · 30/08/2012 19:56

Ha! Finally someone as irrational as me Grin

ShiftyFades · 30/08/2012 19:59

I might see if I can find a recipe for that.

TwllBach · 30/08/2012 19:59

I read the title as "the nude woman in the carpark" GrinGrin

SauvignonBlanche · 30/08/2012 20:00

ShiftyFades makes a very good point, you don't know what is going on in other drivers' lives.
I remember driving home from the hospice after I'd sat with my DM until she died.
I hadn't eaten for I don't know how long, I stopped to get something and in getting out of my car, inadvertently touched the next one with my door, I'd probably parked badly.
The other driver started shouting at me, I couldn't believe this was happening and was really upset but how could he know what I'd been through?

Tiredmumno1 · 30/08/2012 20:00

You could be onto something bach, I may try that in the hope it clears the car park Grin
