Yey! I may watch series two tomorrow if DS insists on amusing himself again. I was so glad of this thread, been bored as Stella and couldn't go put 20,000 pesetas in a slot machine to amuse myself.

northernmonkey · 25/08/2012 20:20

Mickey luv, what's the capital of France??

northernmonkey · 25/08/2012 20:26

Wine Grin

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 25/08/2012 20:28

Wine!

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 25/08/2012 20:30

I haven't watched it for ages and ages, dh HATES it and doesn't think it's remotely funny.

RevDebeezWoodall · 25/08/2012 20:45

Yeah DP hates it too. Weird as we do share a sense of humor.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 25/08/2012 20:46

We don't!!

I got him to watch Psychoville though which he quite liked.

ObviouslyEgregious · 25/08/2012 20:49

Yep my DP also doesn't like it. He likes bits of it but would rather not watch it.

Empusa · 25/08/2012 21:03

Watching the Xmas special right now Grin

DH hated it at first, but loved it after he saw the Drury Lane DVD

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 25/08/2012 21:11

I have just started with episode 1....may be a long night!

Empusa · 25/08/2012 21:21

"Hallelujah! It's raining pens!"

RagingDull · 25/08/2012 22:43

am just watching the top 30 comedy s thing on C4.....most of these i loved - i loved brass eye, black books, vic reeves big night out, trigger happy tv, the comic strip presents, the IT crowd raises a rye smile due to ds being a programmer....

some of the bits of LOG i thought were funny, just lots i didnt, lots of it i thought was tragic and a bit sad, rather than funny. horses for courses.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 25/08/2012 23:01

I don't like Father Ted much, but thanks for this thread, you prompted me to watch LoG again, am on episode three now!

cornybootseeker · 25/08/2012 23:04

I love father ted.

BustersOfDoom · 25/08/2012 23:30

Love Father Ted too. My DM has a few Daniel O'Donnell fans as friends and the episode 'Night of the Nearly Dead' left her unsure whether to be offended or wet herself laughing. Fortunately she went for wetting herself laughing Grin

CrazyChicken · 26/08/2012 10:46

We love LOG, if DH has been shopping he always shouts 'Home is the hunter' when he comes in.

We also say 'jump leads for two' and 'daddy' and my ex is nicknamed Mickey because he used to have a mullet like that and is a bit 'shit for brains'

So many quotes, so many brilliant characters.

This is frigging brilliant

chickensaresafehere · 26/08/2012 13:23

Love LoG,it's complete genius!!
Am going to dig it out & watch it all againGrin
