BBC interview with the mother who lost her son in Burnham at the weekend

I can't believe that they interviewed her, she is clearly in a state of shock and should be left to mourn. The voyeuristic nature of the interviewer whose only goal appears to be to upset her even more for the benefit of his viewers made me ashamed to be watching. I can't see any justification for this type of interview

Dreadfully sad business.

We've just returned from Burnham on sea and heard the helicopters flying round on Tuesday evening. The saddest thing we saw was the grandfather sitting by the toys and flowers looking absolutely devastated.

We took the DDs to that beach a few days before and there were sinking sand signs and a strong reach of flowing water even when the tide was out.
I thought I was being overprotective keeping them well away from the wet sand - now I'm glad I trusted my instincts. No way would we have bathed there.

My heart goes out to them though. RIP little lad.
