Just wondered what peoples kids do while they are on mums net. Some people are on here an awful lot even on sunny days when they should be outdoors.
I really am not judging- just curious.

OP posts:
StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 15/08/2012 21:17

and Hectate does a great drunk thread on occasion Grin

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:18

I don't think you've hit a nerve with anyone. I think you got typical MN sarcastic answers to a very silly and judgemental question based on an extremely silly assumption.

How have you not noticed the Teenage, Secondary Education, etc etc etc topics?

Perhaps a better look around the site, along with a less twatty name change would be a good idea?

HecateHarshPants · 15/08/2012 21:19

Blush ONCE! Once in years on here!

Grin Thank GOD it's in chat and will go bye bye very soon!

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:19

Stratters I keep forgetting...I had an absolutely weird dream where you and I were at a coffee tasting. Of which I do not know if there is such a thing...

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:19

Not soon enough, Hec...

MsNobodyAgain · 15/08/2012 21:20

Well at least the OP came back. She needs to get the hang of the Hmm thing though.

Hit a nerve? No. Just a silly post that prompted a bit of banter and laughter.

HTH. Thanks

ThisIsNotHoneyDragon · 15/08/2012 21:20

With whom do you consider you've hit a nerve. Grin

I don't exactly see people going "Ye gads, I must defend myself against a random on the Internet!"

ThisIsNotHoneyDragon · 15/08/2012 21:22

Might want to stay away from politics, feminism and philosophy too op. Can't think and do proper parenting.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 15/08/2012 21:22

Grinim so glad I was there to contribute! I'm great at talking bollocks!

Notcybermum · 15/08/2012 21:24

Advice taken name changed. I will look round properly but then might wander over to net mums for a look. I always found it too in your face but at least I won't get abuse hurled at me by supposedly "nurturing" individuals!

Should call this asbo mumsnet

Notcybermum · 15/08/2012 21:24
Hmm
Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:24

HA! That wasn't abuse...

happydotcom · 15/08/2012 21:24

My ds is fast asleep.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 15/08/2012 21:25

Oh I dont feel sorry anymore...

You've hit no nerves sweetheart.

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:25

Also, you've now told us your name change, which, TBH, is just as bad as your original name, knowing you're old name and your post.

HTH

Smile

That was my first PA Smile I feel so proud

TunaPastaBake · 15/08/2012 21:26

I work form home , so have a tab open for MN and also a tab open to try and get ParaOlympic tickets ! Arggghhhhh !

My dog is more likely to be bothered that I'm not walking her rather than my kids interacting with them - infact interacting with the dog is sometimes more constructive and rewarding ! Grin

AmazingBouncingFerret · 15/08/2012 21:26

xposted! That wasnt abuse you just got! Seriously take a look around the place, remove the stick from your arse you'll probably enjoy it.

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:28

Oops, bad grammar. Sorry.

Need more wine. I'll go wake my son to fetch me some.

WorraLiberty · 15/08/2012 21:28

Am I the only one who thinks the OP name changing for this is deliciously ironic?

I mean, if you're not guilty of doing what you're so 'worried' about others doing...why the need to change your name?

I'm sure it couldn't possibly be so people can't go through your history and mention kettles, pots and a certain dark shade of grey? Wink

SarahStratton · 15/08/2012 21:28

Cooo Tee, now a coffee tasting is something I would be well up for.

Would you walk into a club/pub etc and start criticising members? I think if you did, they might get ever so slightly snippy at you. That's basically what you just did with this thread. It's ill-judged and rather stupid, just name change again, don't announce it this time, and go and read the forums, get a feel for the place before you start posting daft threads.

Here endeth the first sermon.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 15/08/2012 21:28

Asbo mumsnet Grin.

justwantcheese · 15/08/2012 21:29

I multitask by bf whilst mumsnetting.god I'm marvelous

Glittertwins · 15/08/2012 21:29

50 shades at that ;-)

SarahStratton · 15/08/2012 21:30

You MN, BF, and read soft porn all at the same time?

Tee2072 · 15/08/2012 21:30

I know Stratters! And we were being all pretentious, saying things like 'it has a chocolate finish but the undertones of raspberry are delightful' and having a laugh.

It was a fab dream!
