I never understand people who slag off other people's musical preferences - it's such a personal thing. No doubt you love music I can't bear but I wouldn't make an issue of it

They sound like Led Zeppelin compared to the dirge known as 'Coldplay'. Saw M5 as a support band and didn't think much of them. They just seem to have tapped into a market. Dave Matthews is HUGE in America (stadiums) but I can't see the appeal but he didn't get rich underestimating the public

I LOVE Maroon 5 and I think the Gallagher bros. are knobs. However, I do have a gripe with "I'm on a Paaaaaayphone"...is it meant to be retro? Who uses payphones nowadays?

I actually don't mind them, they were better way back but think they are ok now. DS likes them (he is 6). I also like Noel Gallager as a musician even though he is a twat. I also absolutely love Muse.

There were loads of comments on FB on Sunday night re the closing ceremony. For every act/song there were about 10 different comments brilliant/shit/indifferent. I got a bit pissed off when people started forcing their opinions and being unecessarily nasty - can't see the point in that.

usual me neither - I really don't like Coldplay, Muse, Elbow, stuff like that but as long as nobody pins me down and makes me listen to it I don't care!

(But then my CD collection has allsorts from AC/DC to Abba to Adele so what do I know )
