they are so blaaaaaand, and nothingy. And whiney....

who actually likes them? Enough to buy their CDs?
The songs arent even catchy at all. Apart from that first one they did, years ago

Was it Noel Gallagher that said, Maroon 5 make music for people who dont really like music. I have to agree

Is he relayed to Avril Levine then?

he has the same affect on me as James Blunt...urgh

I quite like Maroon 5 and at least their singer is nice to look at. Muse and Coldplay are really boring. I don't get muse at all. Chris Martin is going the same way as bono with his hypocritical save the planet bullshit.

Gunznroses · 14/08/2012 22:33

Avril lavigne you mean ? No.

FrillyMilly · 14/08/2012 22:34

Also I don't think they are related. She's lavigne and he's Levine. What happened to her anyway?

EngeldinkHumpabert · 14/08/2012 22:36

Yes. Adam Levine should be seen and not heard. The Payphone song is on the CD that plays in the department store I work in. I have to listen to it once an hour for 9 hours a day.

icecold · 14/08/2012 22:38

Oh yeah...

humperdink you need a new job

i like payphone
moves like jagger is really annoying

Heavensmells · 14/08/2012 22:48

I could watch Adam Levine in the moves like jagger video all day long!

TheCraicDealer · 14/08/2012 22:50

My friends and I loved Adam Levine when they released "Harder to Breathe", mainly because he looked very like the babe of a geography teacher we used to stalk. The lead singer started my friends blazer/hoody-combo obsession that lasted for years.

I like Snow Patrol because Gary Lightbody sounds like he's from NI when he's singing rather than affecting some stupid American accent. I'm looking at you, Two Door Cinema Club and General Fiasco and Graham McDowell

ReindeerBollocks · 14/08/2012 22:52

Hate their current song. Love their old album. I'm a mid 00's girl where they are concerned.

He is fairly gorgeous though.

MadameCupcake · 15/08/2012 18:50

Doublevodka I have seen them quite a few times and I like them even more after seeing them live - they are amazing! DH and I have completely opposite tastes in music (other than Muse) and some of his stuff I just don't get but then again he is quite old Grin

Zara1984 · 15/08/2012 18:56

YANBU

I often ask this of my DH, who is convinced that they are music industry geniuses with their brand of nicey nicey mainstream pop - release something catchy every couple of years. Enough time for people to remember who they are, but not get sick of them.

Same modus operandi for Train!

PostBellumBugsy · 15/08/2012 19:04

Yes, YABU!

Adam Levine is hot, hot, hot (so utterly hot, I may have to change my nickname to MrsAdamLevine) and their songs are great. They've gone a bit more poppy and mainstream, but Songs About Jane was a superb album.

icecold · 15/08/2012 19:11

yeah yeah you're fit. But my gosh, don't you just know it

(mike skinner-for all you uncultured deaf Maroon5/ Adam Levine appreciaters) Grin
