To be irritated that my friend is selling clothes I gave to her on ebay?

She has a DS 6 months younger than mine. I pass on DSs clothes which are in good nick. I'm pretty good at getting stuff in the sales so it's mostly Boden, Scandi stuff, John Lewis.... nice things.

Her DS wears the stuff and I'm glad it gets used.... but I've just noticed that she's selling the stuff her DS has grown out of on ebay. She did ask me a while ago what I wanted her to do with the stuff when finished with and I asked her to take it to the charity shop.

AIBU to be a bit pissed off about this?

own, not "won"

I think (unless she's skint) that the reason I don't like this is that when someone does me a favour, I'd like to think I would pass the good-will on - by passing the clothes on to someone else, or to charity

but say I got given 30% free hand me downs, 10% gifts, 30% second hand and 30% new

then when I'm finished with them I sell a a third, give a third to a friend with a new baby, and give a third to a charity shop

I'm still passing on the goodwill, even if some of the given ones end up in the sell pile and its the new and second hand ones that end up in the hand me down or charity shop pile!

for all you know the friend gave away as many clothes as she got for free, they just didn't happen to be the EXACT ONES! who can keep tabs on where every baby-gro came from?
