Thanks for the explaination

igggi · 16/07/2012 15:25

She may have led the horse to water, but people make bitchy comments all on their own.

snoozin · 16/07/2012 15:39

"Just because they make it your size, doesn't mean you should wear it!" (applies to all clothing)

Icelollycraving · 16/07/2012 15:42

I wore strapless & I am in the Tongan category, imagine!!

PerryCombover · 16/07/2012 15:50

Oi you lot
Cod is hilarious as are her threads
She's also wise helpful kind and funny as hell

She doesn't make you all bitch...she just writes an op and then off you go
If this Is a pointless thread don't post on it but we all love to snark really, don't we?

At least she isn't earnest, dull witted or mundane which are worse crimes in my book
( I'm obviously one of those who had a crush)

See if she had posted under her original name, then all the following posts would have been similar to Perry's. :)

www.uptightclothing.co.uk.

This amazing woman made my strapless, corseted dress, and I'm considerably larger than a 12....amazing what a waistline a good corset can give you, especially after 4 kids and looking 50 in the face! I am in the real brides section - 9th down, dark red dress with ivy decoration. And my husband wore a kilt - but he has great rugby legs!

YANBU.

OlympicRingSting · 16/07/2012 17:16

Wow! Some people are that desperate for attention that they have to go to such lengths?
Do they have such shallow personalities that they have to attack others in order to get others attention.

OP, if you are coddy, PM me please. I need your potty training boot camp wisdom. Day 3 and I am caving....

Chubfuddler · 16/07/2012 17:40

No idea if the op is Cod or not. But if you her potty training diary, I think it's on the main mn site under toddlers - potty training. Doesn't say cod - says a mner. But I think it is hers.

Chubfuddler · 16/07/2012 17:45

In fact her boot camp is under that diary, and does say cod.

peggyblackett · 16/07/2012 19:04

Thanks chub. I am following it, but I am losing my way along with a pair of wee'd on ballet pumps, several pairs of cacky pants, my sanity. You get the picture :o I need a tailfin up the arse.

Chubfuddler · 16/07/2012 19:07

If its not working, stop for a bit. Ds made great strides for about a week at just over two, then it all went v v v Pete tong so we stopped and tried again a couple of months later and it just clicked. That may not be in accordance with the gospel of cod but it worked for him.

peggyblackett · 16/07/2012 19:14

Thanks. I'll try for one more day, and then give up. In fact he's off to my DMs tomorrow, so I'll see how he fares there (she is v.v.patient).

Loving how looking shit in wedding dresses has moved to just shit :o
