Size 6 on bottom, 10 on top..my boobs over floweth..as I am under five, feet, there is no way I would have worn a strapless wedding gown..as resembling a dumpling was not really the look I was after..
Could give a rats bum what any other bride chooses to wear..if she feels beautiful, good on her.

Ah each to their own l say, people can wear what they bloody well want...but I have to agree with the anti-strapless dress sentiment of the OP, however, banning all over a size 12 is a step too far.

People should use lots of mirrors & take some brutally honest friends with them to try on. Feeling uncomfortable in a dress/outfit is so awful, I've had nights out wishing I hadn't put a particular top/skirt on...imaging this on your wedding day!!

I find it mad that the fashion for 70s brides was to only show their hands and faces (high necks, sleeves) and now (some) brides show a lot of flesh. I always wonder if it makes the FIL uncomfortable to see their new DIL a third naked with hair up, dress 4 inches down crack/crease(?!) of their baps.

Of course anyone can wear what they like. And everyone else can choose to take the piss.

ASPIAGT, posters seem to be suggesting that this thread's by an old MN user who went by the name Cod, gathered a kind of adoring schoolgirl clique around her including MNHQ, and comes back under different names to post threads deliberately intended to get people bitching and fighting. Hence the fish references.

Don't know about Cod/trolling but there was another thread about how some brides shouldn't wear strapless dresses, started in 2010 but revived earlier this year. I think that one didn't specify size though.
