A dj I once knew always used to play Freda Payne's "Band of Gold" at weddings

At my DSIL's wedding, the song the DJ played after 'their song' was 'Please Release Me Let Me Go, For I Don't Love You Anymore!'

DJ had just suffered a 'Wedding Singer' type jilting methinks

That song has particularly clear lyrics too.
